Loved the location, very quiet. Hunter (the staff working when we arrived) was fantastic! We has an issue where the door key went completely inside the door pad thing and he got us into another room in a timely manner and Stanley (staff the next morning) was very friendly! He made sure he made contact with all guest downstairs and asking about our stays and took notes of any concerns people had. I loved the fact that he asked about how could our stay have been better.

I did not like that the pool was not clean. While swimming my brother-in-law ended getting caught in a blonde hairball and then we noticed that there were a few more that had sunk to the bottom of the pool which prompted all of us to get out. It was already weird with the pool being warm but that was a bit much to see; very disturbing honestly.

I booked a room for my son who was arriving very late while driving across country. We specifically looked for a hotel that is pet friendly as he was traveling with his dog. This hotel offered a room and advertised as pet friendly.

I tried to reach someone at the front desk in order to let them know my son was arriving in about 45 mins (after 1am) Each time someone answered at the front desk and very rudely told me to call back in 10 mins because he was busy. Then he hung up. This happened three times.

the location is close to KU's campus. the cost is reasonable

Seemed like the hotel turned the AC off overnight so the breakfast area and lobby were so hot in the morning you couldn't stand to be there. Even in the room the AC kept saying it was to the set temp and shutting off, but it was so hot in there and I had to get up and keep putting the room temp lower to keep it going. then on night two it was consistently running just fine. The room was big enough and clean but the mattress was so firm that we were all hurting the next morning, including the 18 yo
