A small, stylish hostel, in a very good location. Close to the train station, and lots of sights, cafes and restaurants are within easy walking distance. It's clean, well appointed, and has a lovely, private courtyard area.

I love that it's close to the Basilica, and the location is near to all historical spots. Secured stay and very warming staff.

Only the internet goes on and off, but if you are staying in Mérida to travel and experience the culture, it's not a big deal. You can just sleep after tiring and hot day.

I booked a single room for €38 on a weekend. I was surprised to find a decent-sized room with a spacious and comfortable full-sized bed (good mattress and good pillows). The room also had a safe, refrigerator, TV, desk, shelves and space to hang clothes, hair dryer, and luggage rack. The accommodation itself does not have a staffed reception desk, but they work with a hotel around the corner where the staff was friendly and welcoming, and they also have free lockers where I was able to safely store my luggage until check-in time while I explored the city. La Flor de Al Andalus offered everything I needed at a very affordable price.

Nothing, everything was good, but be careful if you take the stairs. I took the elevator up to my room on the second floor because I had heavy luggage. When I went out for breakfast the next day, I took the stairs. They are marble and VERY SLIPPERY. I slipped with the back of my sneakers and fell hard down a flight of stairs.

El espacio en la habitación era limitado. Si viajas con mucho equipaje quizás no quepas. Las paredes estaban muy manchadas: marcas de paletas, de zapatos de insectos... No hablo de algunas manchas típicas si no que había muchísimas marcas, daba la sensación de dejado y sucio a pesar de las instalaciones estae limpias
