"Exceptional"

After an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips. I will definitely book again if I heard down to Cape Town. Highly recommended.

"A Delightful Boutique Hotel in Cape Town"

Rouge on Rose was a wonderful place to stay in Cape Town. The people are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The location is great - right near the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood - and a very short walk (3 to 10 minutes) to so many interesting and different restaurants. Breakfasts were wonderful. The room was large and comfortable. Should we be back in Cape Town we would definitely stay there again.

Very nice location - a few minutes walk to many interesting restaurants. Exceptional staff - helping in every way possible. We loved the place. Very nice breakfast choices.

Breakfast was wonderful and our stay was incredible, we got many wonderful tips where to eat and also regarding sightseeing and everybody was just soo nice and friendly and made us feel very much at home... we loved it and are already planning to come back in the not so far future.

Very well received with early check in which was great after a very long flight. Clean and quiet. Good breakfast

A bit of a rough neighbourhood with rubbish and people sleeping on the pavement, but security was good at the hotel

My experience at Rouge on Rose lived up to the reviews I had read before I booked it. The staff was very helpful, Jean, Michel and Chris were all great! Breakfast was excellent. My room was clean, and comfortable, and the one minor issue I had was solved quickly. You may want to avoid walking by yourself at night in Bo-Kapp.
