Nothing. They gave me different room than what I booked for. I think they made a mistake that they gave my room to others. They told me it was booking site’s fault that site posted wrong picture. Anyway, I decided not to stay and left. I had to book another hotel for the same day at the evening time.

We had a lovely family stay here and the location was absolutely picture-perfect, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan countryside and vineyards. Our apartment was quaint, comfortable, and very clean. While it could benefit from a small lounge seating area, it had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and we really enjoyed spending time by the pools and wandering through the vineyard. Breakfast was also good, although there were more sweet options than savoury choices. Overall, it's a beautiful property with wonderful staff, and with better communication regarding private events, our stay would have been close to perfect.

The only downside was that there was a wedding on during our first night. Unfortunately, we were only informed about this at check-in, and our apartment was directly above the wedding venue. The music was very loud until the early hours of the morning, which meant our family, including our children, didn't get much sleep and were quite tired the next day. Had we known in advance, we likely would have chosen alternative accommodation for that first night.

We’ve stayed at this borgo multiple times in the last 11 years, Memorial Day weekend, because it’s close to the American cemetery in Impruneta. It was too cold to get in the pool, but the grounds and views are exceptional. The breakfast was amazing for two teenage boys who are always hungry 😅. The staff was very friendly and communicated in advance to ensure easy check in because we were arriving very late. They make wine and olive oil and we bought both from them when we checked out.

Not an issue for our family, but it might be for others. We booked a suite and to get to the two bedrooms upstairs, the staircase is very narrow. It might be difficult or dangerous for small children or elderly.
