Before starting my review of this hotel. I would suggest to anyone to skip Ica. It’s not worth the price you pay for the location you are at. And the Oasis was a joke. The town Ica is all dirty and nothing to do and see. Trust me My stay in hotel Dunas was disappointing. For starters, the security took our passports and left with them, leaving us outside the hotel without our passports. After a long wait not knowing what was going on. The hotel didn’t give us our keys to the rooms when doing the check in, but they held our bags and luggage so we can wander around Ica while waiting to get in to the rooms. They were very strict to the check in 3:00pm policy. Finally, the day we were leaving the staff was at the door waiting to leave the room to inspect it. I found that very rude and unprofessional. This hotel is beautiful but the customer service and the location kills the amenities. Huacachina is overrated and it’s not even a real oasis. So disappointing!

Customer service is the best. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful, Tatiana at front desk and Felipe at the restaurant were great. They make you feel like home. The food is good and the resort is super family friendly.

They’re remodeling a large portion of hotel. Still a mess. My kids were not allowed to swim and were asked to leave pool area. Zero amenities on a Tuesday evening. The bikes are very old, the brakes didn’t work in one of them, totally unsafe. It took maintenance over an hour to bring us bathroom supplies and then a person from maintenance barged in to our room to see if we had consumed anything from the mini bar. I’ll never stay here again.
