Ballard Inn

Shared bathroom but a pretty cool older building. Walls are paper thin and no ac. It’s a bar area so expect to hear people tell about 4 am.

Check-in was down the street at a different hotel. The room was quite expensive for what we got; the room was quite small and the communal bathroom was a bit inconvenient. It's a good central location if you're spending time in Ballard.

Unit was street level and subject to noise from pedestrians walking by the window.

Bathroom is shared but it's clean. The building has a long history and I quite enjoy the historical aura.

The location was great and the room itself was clean

In addition to the room being a shoebox, there was zero sound insulation from both the sidewalk outside (ground floor), the neighboring rooms and any movement in the hallway with the shared bathroom door opening and closing throughout the night. The size of the room was comical. As a solo traveler, I have no idea how two people could have stayed in this room. I could barely shuffle around my suitcase to get to the bed. I was under the impression there would be a desk in the room but there was no desk, no closet nor any other furniture other than the bed and 2 nightstands. Nowhere to hang up clothes other than hooks on the wall and two hangers with the robes on them.

If you're just staying the night, it's not bad. However, you can hear everything - to the point that they provide you with earplugs. The TV cut in and out of signal. Check-in was a bit confusing as you check-in at the hotel, not the inn. The room and bathrooms/shower room themselves were clean.

Great location but next to a gym so woke up to aerobics class noise.

No hairdryer in room. I booked a shared bathroom, not an issue but would like a hairdryer and coffee/tea supplies in the room.
