Hotel Riu Palace Meloneras

Altamente recomendable para unas vacaciones de descanso. A destacar la calidad (y cantidad) del buffet: MUY muy bueno. Pero sobretodo la atención personalizada y amable de todo el personal: que es MARAVILLOSA. En el buffet la amabilidad y gran profesionalidad de Elías y Roberto lo hacen tan estupendo, que hasta anulamos las reservas de restaurantes a la carta😅 (que seguro serán fantásticos también). Las 2 piscinas "adults only" son un remansito de paz, y Romero te hará pasar un buen rato siempre y sirve las mejores consumiciones de la piscina 😉. En recepción extrema amabilidad también con Elena y todo el equipo

Große, gepflegte und ruhige Anlage mit vorwiegend älterem Publikum. Sehr gute Büffets bis auf den Filterkaffee zum Frühstück. Imposante Lobby. Großes geräumiges Zimmer. Wir hatten Partial Ocean View und konnten am Horizont zwischen den Palmen ein Stück Ozean sehen. Der größte Teil des Blickfeldes ging über die Betonvordächer (siehe Foto). Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte nicht richtig. Obwohl sie den ganzen Tag auf Höchstleistung lief, waren es nachts über 25 Grad im Zimmer bei 20 Grad Außentemperatur, so dass wir nur schlecht geschlafen haben. Wir haben dies 3 x an der Rezeption gemeldet und es ist nichts passiert. Es gab auch keine Entschuldigung. Zimmersafe kostet pro Tag 4 Euro extra. Mehrere Pools und ausreichend Liegen. Diese sind jedoch sehr eng gestellt, so dass kaum Privatsphäre besteht. Fazit: Kein grundsätzlich schlechtes Hotel, aber wir würden aufgrund der o.g. Probleme dort nicht noch einmal Urlaub machen.

Es el mejor hotel de 5 estrellas de la zona. El Lopesan tiene mucha fama por sus instalaciones pero este es un hotel demasiado grande y mal atendido; por contra, el Riu Palace tiene el tamaño justo (en el límite alto) para que la atención sea cercana, no haya que esperar horas en los ascensores y el buffet del comedor es maravilloso (en calidad, variedad y sin esperas).

It was simply fabulous

Beware of inadequate aircon in the main block and wing rooms. Ours didn't get below 22 degrees the whole 10 days we were there despite leaving it on 24/7.and the outside temperature falling to 15 overnight! Apparently the villa blocks are much cooler, "freezing" even. Hard floors and thin walls mean you are reliant on other people to keep the noise down which on the whole they do, as the average age of the clientele must be 65+. Facilities, grounds and pools are all very good with lots of sunbeds and brollies available in sunnier/shadier, windy/ not so windy spots. Don't believe the "No reserving of beds" rule though, it is completely ignored by the staff and guests. Food suffers from the inherent disadvantages of the buffet format. There are plenty of cooking stations in operation, but whilst there is a wide choice (but no pineapple juice) and unlimited supply, the food is only 3/4 * quality with lots of fried meat/fish options. It works for breakfast, but is not 5* for the evening meal. The desserts were particularly disappointing, looking fabulous but all artificial and tasteless. Only the choux buns had real cream in them. The staff were friendly and generally efficient throughout. Can't comment on the entertainment as it is not our thing. If you want to eat out there are plenty of nearby options, but apparently the only really good one is Samsara.

Very customer and service oriented staff. Food was very good. Spa was nice. Good location. Good bed and shower. One strange thing: they charged extra for the use of safety box in the room. Unbelievable!

Utmärkt service. Vill särskilt framhålla den utomordentliga städningen, den fantastiskt goda och vällagade maten maten, de stora fina rummen, inklusive toalett och duschrum. Vi bodde i rum 5035 med morgon och eftermiddagssol på balkongen. Snabb Wi-Fi. Trevlig hotellträdgård och poolområde. Proffsigt bemötande reception. Några saker som skulle ytterligare förbättra hotellupplevelse: Skippa minibaren. Kassaskåpet borde vara tillgängligt för gästerna utan extra kostnad. Det kostade nu 25 Euro för fem dagar. Det informerades på väl synliga skyltar om att förbokning av solstolar inte var tillåtet. Ändå var det mer regel än undantag att solstolarna vid poolen närmast strandpromenaden bokades av gäster innan de gick för att äta frukost och många som sen inte kom till poolområdet förrän sent på förmiddagen. Se till att hantera detta så får alla får plats några timmar också vid det poolområdet.
