Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was good for the price for an overnight stop to sleep.

Everything is old (70s) but clean. Except for the chairs, they are very stained. Definitely recommended for overnight rest. I stayed as a mid point from Chula Vista to Berkeley.

The staff was very polite and friendly. Receptionist was eager to help with all our needs

Very good customer service. Safe place to park with a loaded car. Room was not super nice or fancy but had all needed to enjoy a restful sleep. And free breakfast included.

the room had small black beetles, water oozing up from the floorboards in the bathroom, dirty baseboards, and several hours in the middle of the night with such a horrible sewage smell that we couldn't sleep

I don’t usually write reviews, but I just had to share my experience at the National 9 Inn I-5. This place has quickly become one of my favorite hotels to stay at. The staff, especially the manager and the people in the office, are absolutely amazing! They were so helpful, kind, and genuinely wonderful to deal with. You can tell they care about their guests, and that made all the difference. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and very clean. Everything felt well taken care of, and the bed was comfortable. It’s in a quiet, peaceful area—perfect for relaxing after a long day of traveling. If you're passing through or need a restful place off the I-5, I highly recommend staying here. The hospitality and comfort really make it stand out oh yeah and the price is super affordable !
