"Disappointing but enough for a short stay"

The lodge has so much potential to be a wonderful place. The sauna was lovely at the end of a day snowboarding. The breakfast was good.

I was really disappointed by the lack of lodge vibes, barely any introduction when we arrived, didn’t tell us where anything was or make us feel welcome. The fire wasn’t on every night. The ‘daily service’ of your room is less than basic - they didn’t even remove the empty pizza box I left by the bin. The lodge needs some love!

"A Thredbo haven"

Candlelight Lodge may not be up there with their more modern competitors but it does have character and comfort in spades. Well located with just a short stroll to the Village and marvellous views from all the bedrooms. An added bonus is the cooked breakfast and cosy pub located on the bottom level. Staff are welcoming and accommodating.
