Safe, clean, great breakfast, helpful staff, good refreshments for sale, nice pool, the pets (bird, cat, dog) helpful staff. Good air conditioning

Room was dated and very modest decor. Could use some updating. But was comfortable and clean.

The room was very clean and there was a lot of space to store your things. It was a bit dark, but that is quite common in Colombia. The patio with the hammocks and the small pool was absolutely wonderful. The location was great, close to everything but quiet (the street outside the hotel was a bit dodgy at night though). Breakfast was better and bigger than in most other places here. The staff was fantastic and very helpful.

A really comfortable and clean hotel with great facilities and a lovely Colombian breakfast. The staff were really friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I was visiting for both work and leisure, so I woke up early anyway. It might not by the ideal place if you want a lie in - I was woken up to the sound of the swimming pool being refilled at 6:30 am on the Friday, and breakfast plates being set out at 5:30 on Saturday. Since all the rooms are just off the central patio, it's hard to avoid this noise. Anyway, breakfast is served 7-9am so if you want to sleep in you might miss it! Great for solo travellers, work travel, and couples looking to recharge in quiet surroundings.

The whole staff knew me by name and looked out for me with good advice and shared connections. Festive and fun.

The price is excellent for the location and high season. The host is very friendly. The inner yard is green and has a swimming pool. The rooms are decent. Breakfast is excellent. The place has the vibe of a hostel.

The rooms could be renovated.

The place is located just a few min walk from the square and very tourist attractions. The room is basic but comfortable it has aircon and fan. The stuff was very helpful Did not use the pool

Great place!

Beautiful courtyard, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff. It was clean and well kept. We loved the plants, the pool, the friendly cats walking around, the big mango tree in the middle, many spots to lounge. We would definitely come back. It's near the market where you catch the mini-van for Tayrona Park or Minca. Don't miss the Museo de Oro while you're in Santa Marta.

The room was small and could use a bit of updating, it was hard to find an electrical outlet near the bed. We had to unplug the mini fridge.
