Iliostasi Beach Apartments

Una bella struttura, vicino al mare, molto pulito, la piscina stupenda. C'era anche un angolo bar, ma sempre chiuso, peccato!

Le camere andrebbero rimodernare un po. Dovrebbero sfruttare di più i loro potenziali

Чудове помешкання. Майже на березі моря. Вид з балкона на море бездоганний. Тихо. Відмінне місце для відпочинку від галасу людей, машин, натовпу і гучної музики. Сподобались вечері в місцевому ресторані Анатолій.

Сніданки відверто слабенькі. Хоча сам музей, де вони проходили - цікаве атмосферне місце.

Loved the pool and the location next to the beach and water park was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A really peaceful place and a lovely balcony.

The apartment was basic but good value for money and clean.

Very close to the beach which really contributed to the stay experience. The pool at the hotel is large and also includes deep water which was nice for older children. We had two rooms - from the room facing the sea - there was a lovely balcony with an amazing view of the sea and it was really nice to have breakfast and dinner there. The kids also enjoyed the ping pong table and the space around it. The staff is very, very friendly.

We had two rooms, one room for three children and one room for a couple. The large room with the sea view was lovely. The room with the pool view was very, very small. The showers in both rooms were very small and uncomfortable. We didn't notice on the website that the air conditioning was paid for and when we arrived for a late check-in (9:00 PM) they left us keys inside the doors but there was no way to arrange the payment and turn on the air conditioning (there was also no way to contact the hosts). The rooms have a ceiling fan which was definitely enough for the room with the sea view. The small double room facing the pool has noise from the main road and we had to close the door so we missed the air conditioning. We met the hosts in the morning and this was arranged for the extra night. To explore the tourist center you have to go by car, but the almost private beach makes up for it. The hosts were very kind and they also have a nice museum right across the street.

Location of the apartment is just amazing! 5 minutes walk from the beach; supermarkets, restaurants and all needed is really close. I would also highlight the style of the house - it is so authentic and you immediately immerse into this atmosphere. The terrace was a huge additional advantage and the stuff was also very pleasant

Unfortunately, there was a huge amount of mosquitos in our room, which made our sleep a nightmare. And we also didn't have any toiletries except one small piece of soap

Excellent location - just a few steps from a nice beach, which combines sand, pebbles and rocks, so kids have a perfect place to bathe and snorkle. The place itself is low-key, cozy and intimate. The atmosphere is far away from big resorts and more of a family guesthouse. The hotel is very well-maintained and neat - we had our rooms cleaned every day and towels changed. We booked a sea-view apartment - and the view was splendid indeed. The beds were comfortable, rooms spotlessly clean and the kitchen equipped with all you need for a vacation stay - cups, glasses, cutlery, a pan and pots, as well as an electric kettle. We didn't need the aircon, as the fans under the ceilings in the rooms were enough (though the temperature at night was ca. 20C, so we can't say how it would have been with a higher temperature). The pool is absolutely fantastic - clean and warm. My kid used to swim there for hours. There's a selection of books available for the guests, should you forget to take one from home, as well as board games. There's also a pool table and table tennis, though we didn't manage to make use of them. For small children there's also a mini-playground. The contact with the owner is very good and he truly tries to address any requests and wishes you have. As to the decor and furniture - they are outdated, but frankly speaking, if both are clean and fully functioning, as it is here, I don't mind. Shops and restaurants are not far away, ca. 600m on foot.

The Internet was a little hectic - there were times when I had to make use of my mobile data, which is necessary if you're streaming a film in the evening or your kid wants to watch a cartoon on the tablet or play an online game. Also, beware of mosquitos! We were warned in advance by the reviews and brought Mugga, both as an appliance put into the socket and in spray - buth these monsters seem to be immune to it. I know the owners can do little about these insects and we were bitten also in other places, such as Heraklion, when we went sightseeing. Just remember to close the windows in the evenings and bring some repellent.

Private hotel beach, Beutiful and clean pool

I enjoyed my stay enormously, would recommend Iliostasi Beach Apartments to anybody! I stayed in Apartment with a sea-view on 10-20 October and would stay even longer. Apartment was comfortable, 2 balconies. Perfect beds, very clean. Some guests would say that furniture is dated, I would rather say that it is vinted :) and real Greek. The Owners are very-very helpful with any request that you may have. The territory and the location are purfect: opposit the open-air museum where breakfasts were surved (almost on the beach). Several beautiful sand-beaches between the rocks, supermarket, bus stop - all within a walking distance. Scuba-diving, para-sailing etc are available at the beautiful Star-beach nearby. The sea was still warm enough to swim. But Iliostasi also has a beautiful pool with a sea-water for cool or stormy days. You will never regret if you book your stay in Iliostasi Beach Apartments

I would recommend to change curtains to glass or plastic panels in the showers. I know it is not easy and can be not affordable for the owners right now but please consider it in the future
