Hotel Riu Funana - All Inclusive

Amazing stuff! Great choice of food! Beach is beautiful (5 min walk). Room location (building 8). Aqua park!

Gym opens only from 8am. Not sure why it’s not possible to open it earlier or not to close at all :)) massage at spa was so-so, 60 eur for 50 minutes but the quality was low.

The location is very close to Santa Maria, while still offering a sense of privacy and isolation. The hotel is slightly farther from the beach compared to its sister property, Palace, but this was not an issue at all. The staff were helpful, and the room was always clean and well maintained. As for the food, just like in Riu hotels, it was consistently good

What I didn’t like: It’s not so much that I didn’t like it, but rather something I found a bit confusing. Both Riu Funana and Riu Palace have their own kids’ activity areas with animators—indoor spaces where children can play. One is located at Funana near the spa area, and the other is by the Palace near Splash World. Splash World itself is accessible to guests from both hotels, but when we wanted our son to join activities in the playroom near Splash World, we were told he couldn’t because we were staying at Funana. This felt a bit strange, especially since the Palace is generally more oriented toward adults without kids
