Hotel Riu Palace Jandia

Nice hotel , good staff , Yasmin in particular very helpful

We stayed at this hotel for a few days between Christmas and new year it was up to the normal Rui standard large clean room lovely buffet and friendly staff. The position of the hotel is good for both beach , local shops and bars. We enjoyed our stay very much

Hotel excelent located on the beach, you get to the beach by an elevator! Good food. Good hotel staff. A little old, need perhaps painting.

Last minute short break to this hotel December 2015. Staff are fabulous, nothing too much trouble. Food excellent. Beach is near, accessible by quite a few steps.

Had a lovely last minute holiday stay here. I was very concerned about what hotel I picked as I am 5 months pregnant and was worried about food extra. However the food was amazing you can't complain one bit so much to choose and they are so helpful with any issues you have. Room are Cofy sea views and a must I think. Then only thing I would say is if you going with little children there isn't a lot for them to do. Also not it being the hotels fault but the Beach the hotel lift goes onto (which is completely stunning) but you walk about 10mins along and you find a lot of nudests. Other then that such a lovely place. Hopefully returning.

This is a good hotel. It is a little tired but what it lacks in polish, is more than compensated by the determination of the staff to provide the most excellent service. Many people have written about the number of steps that are encountered. There really is now way round the issue and people with mobility issues should avoid the hotel.

This is our second time to this hotel and we can honestly say that we were not disappointed. Everything was just as amazing as it was last year. The food is to die for, so much to choose from and the quality was like nothing you can compare to. Most hotels don't offer good food and you can usually expect bland food but the riu just makes it top class. The staff are extremely helpful albeit some more than others but overall good. The rooms are spacious and cannot fault the hotel on anything. The only thing missing is some bars and restaurants near the hotel that you could go to if you wanted. It's not a lively place so you need somewhere nearby to go. Great holiday and would recommend to anyone but if you want to go out in evening, might want to look elsewhere. Finally the one thing to be aware of is the wifi is only available in the lobby but still wasn't great.

We have enjoyed staying in the R I U Jandia. We did find the hotel rather boring it was 80% full of germans who were very loud at dinner and on the beach. The food was fine but always the same. The beach was perfect when you got to it down a lot of stairs. We did not like paying 20 euros for a safe which we have always found free in other hotels and water should be free but wasn't.
