Dioklecijan Exclusive Apartments

Small hotel on great location near Pallace. Marina and her sister were amazing hosts, gave us bikes to explore the town. That was great experience! Split is lovely town with lots of interesting restaurants, small bars..We had excellent time in Split and accommodation is one of the best we stayed!

There is no way this particular apartment on the first floor of Plinarska 4 could be described as 4 star. I would say it is at best a 2-star "room". The entrance was like a warehouse full of bikes and toilet rolls and other "stuff" We had to ask for a kettle and cups. There was no mini-kitchen, just a few plastic plates. The only storage for clothes was a tiny rack about 60 cm above the plates and glasses - you could not actually hang anything there. There were no tissues. All in all it was overpriced and disappointing. The overriding problem in Croatia is that demand for hotels is so great in summer that standards are slipping.

Awesome place to stay. Only a few minutes walk to old town and the sea. We drove and parked up nearby and went to find the place on foot since it's down the end of a small road. Marina was very helpful and showed us the off-street parking before showing us our room and giving us a run-down of things to see. Would definitely stay again.

Olimme kaksi yötä kahden hlö yksiössä. Huone oli perus siisti, tosin ilman vaihto ei ollut hyvä ja huoneessa haisi aika-ajoin pahalta. Huoneisto sijaitsi todella hyvällä paikalla, vain muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä pääkadun loppupäästä. Mikäli ajaa hotellille autolla kannattaa varautua erittäin ahtaaseen parkkialueeseen. Palvelu oli hyvää, ja hotellilta annettiin kartta, johon omistaja merkitsi pyytämiämme paikkoja. Lisäksi hotellilta olisi saanut polkupyörät veloituksetta käyttöön, kannattaa siis kysyä.

The Dioklecijan Apartments was a positive surprise, even though it was a bit more pricy than some other options. The office was located quite close to the center and the Riva, maybe a 5min walk away. Our apartment was right next to it, half a story below ground level, and the room was great. Apparently though, they have rooms in other places too, but I'm not sure about this! The apartment was very clean and the architecture inside was nice. We had a proper kitchen, a TV and a sound system, which was a nice surprise, don't forget to tune to Feel Good Radio! The bathroom was a little small, but otherwise very nice, with a proper shower cabinet rather than just a shower curtain. There was a couple of bakerys just outside the apartment, and fresh bread in the morning was a bonus to the home-cooked breakfast prepared in the proper kitchen. A supermarket is also quite near, maybe 5min walk. The apartment office next door has a couple of bicycles you can borrow, they are not in the best of condition, but still! You had to pay the apartment ON ARRIVAL with CASH! All and all, a very nice place very much worth the price level a bit higher than the cheapest of accommodations.

Appartamento ampio con 2 letti matrimoniali dotato di ogni comfort, inclusa una lavatrice a carica verticale e il wi-fi. L'edificio é in tipico stile Dalmata e il quartiere é molto caratteristico ed a 5 min a piedi dal palazzo di Diocleziano. L'agenzia riserva anche il posto auto incluso nel prezzo altrimenti difficoltoso se si é in macchina.

Had a great time at this apartment. They had free parking for our rented car, and the apartment was clean with a beautiful little sit out. Apartment also had a little kitchenette with the basic crockery and cutlery. Washing machine also, although we didnt need all these facilites. This apartment would be great for long stays.

Brilliant stay friendly staff very close to city centre. Highly recommended!
