"Very poor shower"

4.0

The bath /shower taps did not work properly so that the water was either scalding hot or freezing cold. At 6 p.m. on Saturday evening there was no hot water left at all. We reported this on Saturday night. The following morning at check-out staff were disinterested, inferred that the shower problems were all our fault and did not offer any apology. I have since read numerous other complaints about the showers and taps at this hotel.

"Lovely family run hotel"

10.0

Stayed for one night with a friend in twin room and ate in the restaurant in the evening. Food was excellent, delivered with friendly, helpful service. We had a lovely view of the lake from our room and restaurant. A large refurbished bar seating area divided into two sections gives ample space for friends to relax in the evening.

"Nice location"

6.0

Lovely location, friendly and helpful staff, but. The evening meal was not good, one was 'cool' and the triple cook chips were sent back. We asked to see the owner, who was most unhelpful - he never heard the saying, "The customer is always right", that as he thought was "old school".

Three Wells is an amazing hotel in the heart of the Welsh countryside. It is in a beautiful location, excellent facilities and great food. The staff were very helpful and friendly - will definitely go again. I recommend Three Wells to anyone staying in the area.

"Good but need more staff and more staff training"

6.0

Great location and lovely views of the pond. Staff very hard working, but it is understaffed and not enough concentration on the basics- our meal was good but the service was almost non existent.

"Where was the customer service"

2.0

The hotel was of a good standard, breakfast was reasonable. The customer service was appalling. Arrived at 1330 to be sent off with a flea in our ear because we had arrived early for check in - 30 mins accordingly to the details sent to us from hotels.com. No apology from the owner when we complained. our room had a dead moth in the bathroom and one flying around in the room. The next day we came back from a day out to find our room had not been cleaned. We were to,d that they could not get onto the room. What hotel dies not have a master key. ( there was no notice to say you had to leave you room key behind if you went out). The girl on reception said she would clean the room and asked us if we wanted to have a drink whilst we waited. When the room had been cleaned (Bed made) she came and stated that she could not lock the door, so my husband had to go and lock the door. The following day at check out we were charged for the drinks the night before. First and last visit to that hotel.

"A Guest House not a Hotel"

6.0

Arrived late in dark, shown to room which was functional and relatively cosy but without character. Good range of support in the room, bottled water, tea, Coffee, hot chocolate, welsh biscuits, crisps and chocolate. Bed was functional not luxury. Television was very small. Floor not level and creaky. Breakfast was good and plenty of coice although the room was the bar and again not cosy or appealing. Great WiFi. View fom the room to the rear of the property was most unappealing and looked unkempt.

"Good"

4.0

Very quiet location, pastoral views. My room, 6, was more B&B standard than typical hotel, but at hotel prices. Dinner was well presented and the staff were very polite and friendly.
