Le Foyer Arequipa

Not the most comfortable place, but well worth its money. The room, and especially bathroom, was very small. However, certainly clean and well organized. Breakfast was good. Location is good too.

Staff sometimes seemed completely flabbergasted about the most simple questions.

A terrific place to arrive after two long nights on a bus. The staff are helpful and welcoming. They communicated brilliantly before we arrived which was reassuring. Le Foyer is in a terrific spot in Arequipa an excellent base.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Arequipa. The property is beautiful, with a charming courtyard, a lovely terrace, and a café/bar area where breakfast is served and where guests can relax throughout the day. The entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. One of the features we appreciated most was the comfortable lounge area available for travelers arriving before check-in time. Having access to seating, restrooms, and even showers before getting our room was extremely convenient and thoughtful, especially after a long journey. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We also appreciated the breakfast box they prepared for guests with very early departures, which was a nice touch and showed their commitment to guest comfort. We did have a small issue with our room, as it was not exactly as shown in the photos. However, the staff handled the situation professionally and immediately offered to move us to another room the following day. In the end, we decided to keep our original room, but we greatly appreciated their willingness to find a solution and ensure we were satisfied. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with great facilities, thoughtful services, and attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Arequipa.

The nightclub next door kept us up most of the night. The bed was on the second floor. There was no where to sit except at the desk and there was only one chair. It was too cold to sit on the balcony in the evening. The restaurant was outdoors and it was too cold to eat dinner and breakfast there. The stairway up to the reception was steep and it was difficult to carry luggage. No wonder the price was inexpensive. Photos can be deceiving! ( Winter June )
