This traditional Moroccan Riad did not quite meet my expectations. Having stayed in several traditional-style Riad before, I had hoped for better facilities in a historic city like Marrakech, but this one fell a little short. Check-in went smoothly. It’s best to call ahead—the hotel will arrange a luggage cart to meet you at the parking area, and the porter expects a tip of around €5. The Raid is tucked away in a small alley, but once you’ve been there, it’s not too hard to find again. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Marrakech’s main square (Jemaa el-Fna) and around 40 minutes to the Majorelle Garden. The staff were friendly, and the front desk offered helpful travel advice. They also kindly stored our luggage for free after checkout.

The room felt quite dated, and with no window, there was a persistent musty smell. The towels and bedding didn’t feel fully dry, so we ended up using our own towels and sleep sacks. Hot water was limited—enough for one person to shower, but the next would need to wait a while. Breakfast was simple: bread, orange juice, and tea or coffee. Overall, this is a fairly standard traditional Moroccan Riad—nothing particularly outstanding, but acceptable for a short stay if you manage your expectations.

Un alojamiento acogedor y limpio. La relación de precio y calidad es coherente. Está ubicado en una zona silenciosa. El trato de Ayoub fue muy ameno, estuvo pendiente de nuestra reservación desde el primer día y el recibimiento fue muy amigable.

A szállás a medinában van, ezért majdnem minden nevezetességhez gyalog el lehet jutni, nem nagyon kellett taxit bérelni. Ayoub, a host, kedves volt, és segítőkész. A szoba régimódi és egyszerű, de tiszta és rendezett. A klíma jól működött, így éjszaka sem fáztunk. A reggeli is jó volt, 2 személyre elég. Jó ár-érték arányú szállás, ajánlom! :)

L'ospitalità di ayoub è stata davvero la miglior cosa di questa vacanza, sempre disponibile e flessibile e ci ha permesso di lasciare le valigie fino alle 17 per poterci godere l'ultimo giorno
