Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort

The hotel is an absolute gem, we loved everything, from the excellent and kind staff, to the stunning infinity pool & view, the beautiful and comfortable bedrooms, all the complementary activities, it couldn’t have been any better!!!

We were warmly welcomed and given hydrangea leis to wear. The staff were very welcoming. Our room was beautiful and had the most comfortable bed of our tour. A huge range of coffees in our room. Our room was very peaceful with lovely views across the valley. The food here was excellent and it was lovely to have afternoon tea overlooking the pool. The infinity pool is very impressive. Almost everyone wanted their photo in, on or around it. We enjoyed the free tour of the plantation. We also had a cycle tour of the area which we really enjoyed.

The whole site is extremely steep with lots and lots of steps. There were 30 steps just to get up to the roadway from our room. They do offer free buggy rides but just be aware in case you are not very mobile. We did the self-guided trip to Munduk waterfalls. The hotel should inform guests that the correct footwear should be worn. The steps up and down the waterfalls are very steep, slippery and worn away in parts. A simple map would have been very helpful too.

Excellent mood with exceptional hospitality. Beautiful location - felt wonderful to be surrounded by such lush vegetation. Star factor amazing. Wonderful selection of activities. Fabulous food and coffee. We really enjoyed the jungle trek. Truly appreciated the extra effort for my brothers birthday.

La gentillesse du personnel, les deux piscines à débordement, la qualité du petit-déjeuner, les deux restaurants, la propreté et les petites attentions en chambre (café à volonté, cookies, eau, chocolat le soir), les très (trop) nombreuses activités proposées, le calme et la sérénité de l’endroit.

Le débit d’eau insuffisant dans la douche, les nombreux insectes/araignées dans la chambre (bon après tout on est dans la nature..). Le manque de réactivité de l’équipe lors d’un souci médical personnel (2h d’attente pour une réponse qui aurait dû venir en 1 minute).

Jaw dropping views…not just from the sparkling heated infinity pools but also from our room. We loved sitting on the balcony of our room looking out at the treetops and down the valley to the sea below . Delicious food . Small but excellent wine list The fire pit with marshmallows was very welcome . All the staff were amazing..friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. We hope we can return

Fantastische ligging. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekend ontbijt. Zeer vee activiteiten zoals gratis Yoga en rondleiding in de koffie plantage

Je zit min of meer opgesloten. In Munduk werkt Grab niet . Als je naar buiten het resort wilt ben je al gauw 400000 kwijt. Dat is absurd veel. Lopen is geen optie. Dus je moet in het hotel blijven en eten en drinken in het hotel is nog duurder dan in Europa!
