Our stay at Munduk Plantation Nature Resort was truly unforgettable. Set high in the mountains, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking—even on cloudy days, the views have a peaceful, almost magical quality. At night, the stars are unreal—some of the clearest skies I’ve ever seen. What really makes this place special is the staff. There are so many thoughtful, attentive people working behind the scenes and in front of house, all genuinely focused on making your stay exceptional. You feel taken care of without it ever feeling overdone. The resort offers a wide range of complimentary activities, which adds so much value to the experience. From beginner yoga to traditional straw making and guided tours, there’s always something meaningful and unique to do. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with an à la carte menu that felt fresh and elevated—not your typical buffet. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and seamlessly integrated into the surrounding nature, making it easy to fully relax and disconnect. I also appreciated their commitment to sustainability. The resort makes a clear effort to operate responsibly and shares insight into how they’re contributing, which adds another layer of purpose to the stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, immersive, and elevated experience in Bali’s mountains, this is a truly special place. I would absolutely return.

The property is quite hilly, so you may need a golf cart to get from place to place—but I actually loved it. Walking around was a great way to get your heart rate up and take in even more of the surroundings.
