Residence Inn by Marriott Calgary Airport

We had a terrific stay at this Residence Inn. The staff is outstanding: special props to Karim, Killian and Pooja who were warm and welcoming every time we passed by the front desk, to talk hockey, or ask them for information / recommendations. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and it is off the charts. Again, the staff overseeing it are absolutely at the top of their game. We also really enjoyed the onsite restaurant, District 48. The food is delicious and the staff outstanding. Easily the best in-house restaurant I've ever enjoyed at a Courtyard or Residence Inn. The facility was renovated just last year and the design is as smart as it is attractive, with huge windows, neutral colors and plenty of seating areas. Upstairs, our room was clean and super comfortable. There is a large parking lot right outside the lobby, which was very convenient. There’s a golf course right next door which added some lovely green space between the hotel and the airport facilities. There are some huge domes or “tanks” that house radar equipment, and these are painted with fun, whimsical renderings of all kinds of hats. It’s another nice touch — hats off indeed to the Residence Inn at Calgary Airport!

I missed a flight connection at Calgary Airport and appreciated that this hotel near the airport still had a room available on short notice. Included a free airport shuttle and a very good breakfast buffet. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff were professional and friendly.

Great place!

We’ve just stayed here for 2 weeks. The room was big enough to not feel claustrophobic for a 2 weeks stay and had a kitchen and sitting area. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful, especially Laura who was like a ray of sunshine at breakfast every morning. The breakfast food was great with plenty of selection and the hot food was changed every day. My husband was working nearby and I was worried I’d feel a bit cut off as I didn’t have a car but there is a gym, pool, sauna and are a.couple of lovely places to sit outside and relax. I took an Uber into the city a couple of times which was nice and easy. There’s a snack bar/ restaurant through in the adjoining hotel which was nice too. Locally there are lots of nice restaurants (we particularly liked Moxies across the road and Cactus Club). We’d love to come back and visit again if we are in the area and would recommend this hotel if you are thinking of booking

The bed was super comfy and the room was spacious. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Can not recommend enough.
