Aloft San Jose Hotel, Costa Rica

Breakfast is offered for several hours and has a lot of options. You can have eggs made to order. Our room was spacious and clean. The 5th floor has a machine that makes a variety of hot drinks, and we enjoyed using it when it was working. Parking is included and sometimes if you are lucky, you can have a spot very close by to the front door of the hotel. The evening front desk person was always friendly and helpful. The pool water was warm and there is some outdoor seating. The view from one side of the hotel is very nice, and not bad from the other side. Check out is at noon, which is nice.

We always (stayed her 3 times) had to request a 3rd set of towels even though our reservation was for 3 people. The daytime front desk person was not particularly friendly or helpful. On our final visit, there was a lot of noise coming from the room next door through the connecting door. I called down to the front desk at 3 am for help with getting them to be quiet and no one answered. The sliding doors for bathrooms are heavy and don't lock. Also, if you turn on the lighting for the toilet, it turns on lighting in the rest of the bathroom which doesn't have a door so it can disturb people who are still asleep.

Lits ultra-confortables. Nous avons apprécié les activités sur place (table de billlard, baby-foot, gym et piscine) et l’offre de restauration à proximité. Le personnel était souriant et vraiment accueillant. Parfait pour une nuitée en arrivant ou pays ou avant de prendre l’avion. Le taxi coûte 35 US et prend 20 minutes jusqu’à l’aéroport.
