The water in the sink had to be turned on by pushing button. It only stayed on for a brief second and went back off

"RIPPED OFF"

When we checked in our prepaid room I WAS TOLD that we were given a smoking room and I had ordered a non smoking room. Because of that mix-up I was told that it would be a $7.00 additional charge. Later when we got to the room I was told that the bathroom light switch did not work. The only was to make it work was to keep pressing the on switch. How was I supposed to take a shower and press the on switch at the same time?? Then the water faucet at the sink would only give 2 oz. of water before it shut off. Not practical for sure.....

Bathroom light switch turned off after 30 seconds, no matter which position. Walls are thin, can hear next door neighbor loud conversations/ tv. Area around hotel noisy. Construction around area made finding hotel entrance difficult.

10 appliances out of 2 only receptacles in room. Heater wouldn’t keep room warm. No body there after 9:00 am to return deposit. Expedia didnt tell me there would be a deposit. Won’t stay again and don’t plan to use Expedia again.

First, let me address the room. The bed was ok but the bathroom floor was dirty. The sink was on a timed faucet! You pushed it down and had about 4 seconds to wash your hands etc. There was also a timer on the bathroom light. The deal breaker was when the manager found out about my friend’s medical service dog. We were vendors at a crafts show at the Fayetteville Fair Grounds. We came in around 8p (exhausted) the second night. I went to the office to get an extra pillow. The manager was a bit hostile accusing me of having a dog in the room. I explained that she was a medical alert dog for diabetes. My friend (the owner of the dog) came in to tell me her room key didn’t work. The manager said he had deactivated our keys! We were locked out of our room! When we tried to explain the ADA law regarding service animals, all he would say was he had to charge a $150 fee that might or might not be refunded. Hotels are not allowed to treat service dogs as if they are pets. He became very agitated and threatened to call the police. We told him that was fine. We both felt that because we were women, he treated us disrespectfully as if the ADA law (which she pulled up on her phone) was incorrect.) I was finally able to get a room key, went to the room and called Expedia. It took a little while but Expedia took care of us!! They were great, found us another room in a nicer hotel and paid the difference!! This was a stressful and upsetting situation. Thank you Expedia!

Building has been remodeled. Nice and clean room. We had a circuit breaker flip and manager responded immediately. Was very nice and asked us how we liked the place and if there was anything he could improve on. Will definitely stay again.

"Bed bugs in the mattresses and sheets"

I rented 2 rooms for my family and kids. Upon arrival and getting the keys to the room. We found bed bugs in the sheets and the mattresses!! We immediately went back to the front desk and asked for the manager. We were told wasn't available till 11:00 p.m. and to come back then. At that time we left to go find a different hotel room and packed our things and left. We plan on going back tomorrow morning and asking for a refund!!
