Chalet Continental Motel

Positivt överraskade, ett av de bättre motell vi bott på under vår resa. Rummet var bekvämt och fräscht. Vi anlände sent och hade gjort ett fel i vår bokning. Vi fick trevlig service och allt gick att lösa utan problem. Bra stopp längs vägen.

Quiet location, looks a bit rugged on the outside, but newly renovated on the inside

No elevator

Easy to get to from the highway.

Single traveller with a small dog. No one in the office until after 3 pm. States pet friendly but signage indicates: Keep dogs on leash, his dog is off leash on and around premises Dog cannot be left alone in room, I had to leave the dog in my car while I went to get take out food, Dog cannot be left alone in room in crate Dog cannot be on bed, Pick up after dog, The charge is $150.00 if mess left by dog. Room has vinyl flooring now, beds ok, pillows are ok. Noisy as I was 2 doors from entrance. Microwave did not work, I advised reception on my way out "no one has told me that before" "sorry to hear that". Really dated exterior, the exercise area is the hot tub area did not feel that I could use it. Person who met me initially very nice and helpful when reception person not available initially. Lots of hot water..clean room. Not able to adjust heat.

Comfortable and clean. All I can say is don't judge a book by the cover. This is one of the nicest motel we have stayed in so far. And the guy behind gong to say owner was lovely. A plus

The tv channel selection system is rather confusing and could use some type of help / cheat sheet. We could not seem to find any of the regular BC channels.
