"Works for overnight stay for early flight out"

6.0

Plan on an extra half hour to check in with the typical surly hotel front desk staff. Better than most Russian hotels, substandard to most North American hotels.

"Old soviet hotel turned into another old hotel"

6.0

Oh they probably tried to make it fashionable and new. It didnt work. Check in and out was ridiculous. Thise girl didnt have a clue what they were doing. I had fun watching them struggle checking me in. I asked for a quiet room and i was traveling 4 days now. I got the room at the end of the hall on 2 nd floor (good) facing the entrance street (bad) As my luggage wa lost this trip i was hoping for shampoo and conditioner, but no such luck. There is that all purpose tube near sink and shower. Old shower. Breakfast was good. But i hardly ever complain about food - I eat anything. Room service was good. But they cleaned even when i left dont disturb sign on. Oh well. I was not amazed. And its overpriced.

"Look out"

humble habitation, in every piece of it. Wretched stuff, stinky room, used and then ironing sleeping gear and so on.

"Dated and tired hotel. Good conference rooms."

4.0

I will start with the good. The breakfast and coffee breaks were very good and the main conference theatre was very comfortable. Unfortunately the rooms were very tired and tatty. Beds were uncomfortable and no toiletries in the room. My main concern was the elevator which broke down on me three times during my two day stay. I would take the stairs when possible but thus can be difficult with the 16 floors.

"Here also good not very good"

8.0

I was there this Friday on business and I was happily surprised. I took a studio and the room was comfortable. the bath is pleasant and they give shaver and small things in case you do not have with you. My room had a bath with shower and was good enough for a good shower.the room has a little table with two chairs , a mini bar and some snacks. The room was clean and also a safe is in the room. The deco was sober and better than on the pictures they displayed on the site. the only draw back was the registration process, was a little bit like in the soviet union time. regarding breakfast it was ok. the pirogi were a little dry but the buffet blini were good. A good idea was to but a tray of ham and cheese and vegetable next to the toaster for people who likes sandwich you can make them right there. Coffee was ok and the people overall were friendly. I was meeting with people next to the hotel so I cannt comment of the location but I can say it seems close enough to the points of interest.

"Decent hotel for the value..."

6.0

Front desk staff during the morning is somewhat friendly and speak some English, in the afternoon, little less friendly when busy and at night/overnight, no English speakers on duty. The price was inviting considering my other options and I choose this hotel because it had more amenities than others. The restaurant is nice and the food was fine, with a large bar and open area for when it become a night club during the late evening. Pool tables and bowling are also available within the hotel. Breakfast buffet comes with the price of your stay and is served in their nice banquet hall. I opted to eat a typical American style breakfast of oatmeal, eggs and meat (usually sausage and/or whatever meat patty they were offering), but there were a variety of other options more recognizable of the region. The lobby also has a bar area. The room is small, but you're not expected to be in it long so size was fine. The bed mattress is thin and feels old (feels like a roll away bed mattress). You can feel the springs and there is no box spring. Newer mattress would make for better sleep. I am here during the end of summer and it was very warm in the room and while A/C is available, there is no remote control for it, so you are stuck with whatever the housekeeper has set it to. And usually, they leave the window open after cleaning so sometimes you will get a mosquito or two. Unfortunately, this is Russia, so everyone smokes. While the odor of the room did not smell of smoke, sometimes you may catch the smell of a neighboring room through the ventillation. The shower is small. If you are a large person, this might be inconvenient. And the 5th day there was no hot water. The hotel offers free wifi and works well though does disconnect at times. At check in, they automatically registered my tourist visa. Right outside there are bus stops for one to get into town easily as long as you know the bus routes and numbers, or have the hotel call for a cab and get a price.

"Normal hotel not far from the center"

8.0

Stayed at this hotel on a business trip in June. The city center is 10 minutes by taxi. The airport is 20-25 minutes by taxi. The hotel is quite old, not all rooms have air-conditioning. Restaurant in hotel expensive and not tasty. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is one of the biggest in the city, so it's always a lot of people at the reception. On the upper floors offer good views of the city.

"Central location in the town of Rostove but not the best one..."

4.0

I very often have to travel to Rostov on Done. This hotel is the biggest hotel in the town. It is situated about 20-25 min away by taxi from the airport. The room a small with the smell of renovation. There is no good air conditining. The breakfast is very good. For dinner I would recommend to go out of the hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants just around the corner.

"Rwally nice hotel for the 3 stars"

8.0

Great food and really clean. I think that this is the best 3 star hotel in Rostov for the price. However, staff is not always very helpful, because my collegue had to wait for couple of hours to have hot water in the shower. I like the location, because from there u can go by bus, taxi or have a long walk easily to the city centre.
