In a sentence, this is the only hotel I stayed in during my pilgrimage where the hotel cared for the pilgrim. All the others catered to the client. Right from the entry into the hotel, where I was greeted with a caring smile and offered drinks to showing me the snack bar where we could serve ourselves and make a note of it which we deposited at the counter, the sunlight pouring in to every corner, the beautiful manicured garden, the little swimming pool, the immaculate rooms, the oh-so-comfortable beds, a foot massage service, the food and the wine, everything about Eco Hotel Terra Franca was conceived with only one thought - the comfort of the pilgrim after a long, tiring, and sometimes lonely day walking the pilgrims road to Santiago.
