Hotel Medena Budget

Had to stay here when our flight was cancelled… worst hotel ever as the staff were rude and confrontational, not allowing us a drink with our meals & clearly discriminating against the British. Rooms dated and dirty, hotel grounds were just rough scrubland… Do Not Stay Here!

The reception is renovated. The large and children's pool is new and nice. But that's all regarding the renovation of the hotel complex. Everything else is old. The hotel is not at all suitable for immobile people (wheelchair users) or for families with strollers, because the dining room can only be accessed by stairs. Also, only stairs lead to the pools. There are elevators from the reception to the rooms, but they do not have a presence sensor between the doors. We often witnessed guests getting stuck between elevator doors. We had apartments in the renovated part of the hotel (so it was presented) We received only one access card for the entire family of 4. There was also a refrigerator in the room, but it only worked if the card was inserted in the switch, if you were outside the room, it did not cool. The prices of drinks in the mini bar in the room in this hotel were crazy, they don't have such prices even in hotels in Monaco. The room also had a mini TV (size about 19" - quite comical) and air conditioning. The bathroom was renovated. The shower corner did not seal and the worst thing was the toilet, which splashed water out every time it was flushed. Finally, I want to mention the expensive and strange hotel buffet, which was located on the ground floor in the reception. For example, the price of 1L Coke costs €5, and among the toys for children there were "toys for adults" displayed at the checkout As a negative, I would also mention the trend of reserving sunbeds by the pool, which the hotel tolerated and did nothing about. It was common that all the sunbeds were occupied (with towels) already in the morning and no one was at the pool.

Slitent bad, veldig harde madrasser. Mye støy i baren i resepsjonen. Unger som sprang rundt å hylte. Det har tidligere vært en rekke restauranter nede ved stranden, disse er nå borte så eneste alternativet der nede var junkfood. Regner med at årsaken til det er at hotellet tilbyr all inklusive. 3. gangen vi var her nå, men kommer ikke tilbake.

Breakfast was pretty ok and beach restaurants were nice. Room was a little bit old and dirty.

Alles was niet schoon/echt oud en vies gewoon. badkamertje zeer aan opknapbeurt toe. Douchen in bad met vies douchegordijn, kitranden vies, roestige prullebak schimmel aan de wc afvoer en ga zo maar door. Eetzaal heel veel lawaai! Geen 3 sterren waard, houd met 1 ster wel op. Ons zien ze niet weer.

Salle de bain fort dégradée, lit inconfortable, l’espace piscine pas assez grand pour tout l’hôtel, si on se lève après 8h sans avoir déposé nos serviettes sur des transats, il n’y avait plus de place. Un espace buffet était privilégié pour les bracelets orange, il avait de la nourriture en plus de la nôtre ( comme par exemple du melon, des pizzas,… ), personnel à l’écoute, personnel de salle dans le réfectoire plus que sympathique, d’une gentillesse extrême ! extérieur agréable, beaucoup d’éléments aux alentours, un peu cher pour l’hôtel que c’est…

got back today from medena hotel food was rubbish only had toast everyday staff at bar alexa der elenor and rocky were brilliant ,do not get a taxi here uber was 6 euros was 30 euros in taxi ,had to ask to get room cleaned on 4th day no new sheets ot fresh towels at all just empited bin every day ,will never go back to this hotel save your hard earned money and dont go there is no entertainment at all any night so just drink with no music or amything poor hotel even make you pay ten euros for sunbeds and umberellas so it will cost a couple 30 euros robbing gets

Suited my needs perfectly

Staff of Arka restoran was super friendly and great company. Also 2 bartenders that are te best! Maybe some kind of help with the stairs to the beach??

Todella siisti uima-allas, hyvä ruoka. Luonto ja meri. Huone oli pieni, mutta puhdas ja uudet kalusteet. Ei mitään ylimääräistä. Suositellaan
