ALFAVITO Kyiv Hotel

This stay was the second time I had been to the Alfavito Hotel. First time in March and now again in May. The reason that I went back to this hotel for a second time is pretty much obvious, and that is because it is a good hotel, that will meet almost all expectations. Very clean, organised, and friendly, with helpful staff in the background.

As Always my first choice for staying here when in Kiev. Value for money(4*).. Great Lobby Bar & staff polite,friendly & knowledgeable.All the Receptionists very understanding as are the Bell Boys & Security. It's located in quiet part of city & has many Business clientele & Main Kreschyatyk is only 10 mins by taxi. Overall a clean,friendly & enjoyable Hotel.

The hotel is relatively modern. The entry is dark gray and rather depressing. The 2 elevators are tiny. The room was much smaller than expected. Hot water tended to run out for a shower by 830 or 9. The gym is just 2 hotel rooms with a couole of oieces of equipment. The spa is nice and massage i got was great and very reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet is overpriced. For a $2.50 uber ride go to Tres Francais for a better and cheaper breakfast. The location sometimes difficult for uber drivers so be prepared to call them to confirm pickup location. So be prepared to speak Russian. Use uber its cheap. Ride to the airport was only $12 and most rides around town are $2-3.

Very nice and modern hotel. The room was good size and very clean and modern. The room service and front desk staff was great.

Very nice, clean and quiet. I thought the service was excellent. My fight into Kiev from Dnipro was delayed several hours and I didn't know when my flight would actually arrive. The concierge kept up with my flight and had the driver there when my flight finally arrived. Much better service than typical American hotel. I wasn't there long enough to comment on location relative to sightseeing but for layover purposes this hotel is a perfect choice. The only negative was the currency desk only had $20. Of course this was at 4am so I suspect I would have fared better later in the day. I would certainly stay here again.

I had an outstanding experience as usual (this is probably the fourth time I stayed at this hotel). Staff is great, speak good English, location is convenient (though not glamorous or good for shopping), rooms are large and well maintained. The lobby bar is great, but I don´t like the restaurant: not a good deal for your money. They also have 24/7 foreign exchange desk.

Good restaurant, good bar and super bed. As a traveling businessman, a good night's sleep is essential. Choice of pillows is a clever touch that all good hotels should learn from.

The hotel was a bit far from most tourist locations if you would like to walk. However, I stayed here on business and it was very comfortable - cute interior, big bed, polite service, etc. My partners took me around Kiev by car and it was close enough to major landmarks and tourist destinations when driving. Overall, I would say it was a very decent stay. I would recommend it for business above tourism.
