Saraishyq Hotel

Original interior, good breakfast. Very friendly staff on reception any time. Not far from Airport (take taxi it is cheaper 1500-1700 KT); with pool and pool is with extra fee-surprise, not too match but extra- about 6 USD. If You need transfer hotel- it is the good place.

20 hour layover between flights into/out of Almaty. Chose this hotel due to proximity to airport, and favourable reviews. Good for both, especially as upon check-in, (approx. 00.30,) I was told that the room was mine for 24h! Good breakfast, and efficient shuttle to airport (expect to pay approx. € 15 each way) Staff efficient and helpful, good English spoken.

We stayed hotel because of the flight for the next day. It was a bit far from the airport. Yet it was a nice place to stay.to Staff were very friendly too!

Very good and comfortable!

Spending a few days sightseeing in Almaty and skiing at Chymbulak. Hotel is some way out of town but is served by a good number of buses, taxis are very resonably priced if you walk out of hotel and find your own. Some knowledge of Russian is advisable. Hotel staff very friendly and speak English. Room was spacious, a little cold at first but an extra heater was provided immediately. Would definitely revisit.

For a low price for 2 mights for 2 people sharing including breakfast was excellent value. Fairly basic but perfect for our purposes. Location a bit out of town but made it more interesting travelling in the local bus / taxis. All basic requirements met. Beds a bit narrow but comfy. staff very pleasant. A few slight issues eg small crachs in sink, shower not draining very fast, but these were minor and acceptable considering the price. Would recommend for casual travel / sightseeing

I spent a month in Saraichik, and my experience was beyond excellent in all aspects. The services, staff, atmosphere, and attention are extraordinary. In Saraichik I did not feel like a hotel guest, or a stranger, I truly felt I am among family, and friends. The hotel is a boutique hotel, so unique, has a warm feeling to it, comfortable, and welcoming. The Mangers, and staff are so friendly, highly professional, polite, and will go way out of their way to see that all your needs are met, including assistance with Visa. I have counted in couple of occasions on the skills of the staff in the business center, and the results were excellent. While there, do not skip breakfast, because you will regret it; it is simply delicious. For lunch, and dinner you can check out the hotel restaurant, or many others in the area, namely my favorite “Paradise”. Money exchange, ATM’s, fast food, city tours, and shopping, are minutes away just ask the front desk! I give Saraichik thumbs up, high five, and my highest recommendations! If in Kazakhstan again, I will make it my hotel without hesitations. I look forward to my next visit!

This is a great choice for middle-class travelers that are turned off by Almaty's lack of affordable places to stay. The staff are very friendly and understanding and let me change rooms several hours into my stay because of a noise issue (football practice/matches going on at east end of the complex). You truly feel like you are staying at a mountain lodge here, even if you never get beyond Almaty city and into the wild. The airport shuttle was nicely arranged. Staff spoke very good English when my Russian inevitably failed. I didn't use the bar but I appreciated the small stock of souvenirs by the front desk.
