Location was excellent, the refurbished bar and restaurant were very good. Bed linen and towels spotless and beds comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful with everything and resolved an issue we had in a very generous manner, which was much appreciated. I appreciate that the hotel side of the business is in the planning stages of updating however somethings do need attention until this project is completed. This said the restaurant and bar and the food served was first class and we would return again once the bedrooms have been sorted. Hurry up and sort please.

Bedroom and bathroom was dated and bath edges were mouldy, loose tap on washbasin., fixtures and lights in bedroom very dated. No bottles of water in bedroom. Resident breakfast menu disappointing especially as other people coming in for breakfast had a large choice of items, ( a surcharge could be applied to more items ) Which we wouldn’t have had an issue pay for.

There were a couple of small issues but the staff were so good that it was not a problem

Hot water was erratic but there was lots of renovations taking place

It has potential, it's in a quiet location with plenty parking available

It's not often I give a negative reviews, My stay was overpriced for what I got, shower was tepid at most, sink hot tap also, toilet wasn't flushing properly, one of the blinds was damaged, guest breakfast menu couldn't be found, had to ask for juice and toast, coffee comprised of a few cappuccinos in a pot. Dinner the night before was nothing special, ordered their Burger with fries, same, fries were overdone, my overall experience was not great, three stars at best,

It’s was clean and tidy did me think I was only person staying cause they or doing it up plenty work going on in it getting done up I slept ture it no problem was lovley and warm I never seen anyone only the man I paid when I arrived they did leave me clean towels coffee Mike bits out side my door I had peace no one came near me it was great can’t wait till it opens for food next week I would dif stay again

No one came near me was so peaceful didn’t even seen anyone to give keys bk to so I just left them in the door

Breakfast was good. Room was large, clean and warm.

Hotel being refurbished, some minor effects from that but still a pleasant stay.

The food in the bar was beautiful and the staff were very friendly.

The rooms were very basic, in need if a male over, the bath mat in the bath was badly stained and there was no hot water in the sink. Breakfast was OK, but limited choice only offered sausages bacon and eggs with toast, no beans etc. Yet when people came in after 10am they got beans, soda etc.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Beds comfortable.

There was some construction going on which the staff apologised for, they are doing renovations.

Was where we needed it to be. Lovely staff. Nice breakfast

Room not very clean. Shower not great. Very dated and basic.
