"Average Guest house"

It was basic but served its purpose for a one night stay in Keswick. The host Sophie was pleasant and welcoming.

Sophie was very nice and the room was beautiful, super cozy and comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning with a coffee. Would definitely recommend!

"Couple of days in Keswick"

Nice peacefull central location, with good balcony to watch world go by.

The bed needs renewed, was bad, not stable and leg broke during the night. Sophie was apologetic and remedied it somewhat for 2nd night.

I could not recommend Fitz House enough for anyone wishing for a quiet and comfortable stay in Keswick! It felt like stepping into a very zen and welcoming environment. The bed was so comfortable and the room was both clean and spacious. I was travelling alone for the first time and feel very lucky to have come across this place. The property is set in the perfect location, beside both sides to Fitz Park, local bus routes, and just the right distance from the town centre to have everything in arms reach without the heavy foot traffic right outside. The host, Sophie, is also genuinely lovely to meet. Very kind and very attentive.
