The stay was perfect everything we needed for our weekend. Staff were very helpful and their advice made our weekendd flow really well. Beautiful location with the mountain view and only 20 mins in the car to snowdon.

Nothing to dislike 🙂

The place was incredible. We were very pleased on arrival. The views were spectacular and the little stream was pretty. It was quiet and peaceful and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly. If I ever visit that part of Wales again I will define staying again.

Hi, we're from Ukraine. Thank you. Everything was great. The place was amazing. The views, the mountains, the river, the silence. The staff was superb. The rooms were clean and cozy. There's a kitchen where you can cook. The grounds are beautiful. We'll definitely stay with you again.

"Perfect Quiet Base for Snowdon Adventures and Valley Walks"

10.0

Snowdonia Mountain Lodge was an excellent base for exploring Eryri/Snowdonia. The location is ideal if your main goal is hiking around Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) while still staying somewhere quiet and scenic. The lodge sits in a beautiful valley setting, and I did a lovely 5 km walk directly from the accommodation without needing to drive anywhere. What made the stay especially practical was the transport connection. The lodge is well connected by the T10 and S1 buses, which made getting to Snowdon trailheads straightforward and stress-free. For hikers who do not want to deal with parking chaos around Llanberis or Pen-y-Pass, this is a major advantage. The atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and very much in tune with the surrounding mountains. Waking up there genuinely feels like being inside the landscape rather than just visiting it. After a long summit day, coming back to a quiet valley instead of a crowded tourist centre was exactly the right choice. Overall, this is a very good option for people who want access to Snowdon hikes, scenic valley walks, and practical public transport connections, while avoiding the busier and more commercial accommodation areas.

There is no food directly on premises and no shops nearby, so hikers need to stock up and be ready to cook for themselves.
