Motel 6-Oroville, CA

The property location was handy right off the freeway, yet I never heard freeway noise once in my room. Check in was easy-peasy. She gave me a room close to the office with easy access to my car. The room was clean and had everything I needed. I like the new flooring over the carpeting.

The people were friendly

When we first got there the room smelled like smoke. I went down to the office twice and to verify that it was a non-smoking room. But I found out there's smoking designated areas right outside the room. I asked for different room but they said they were booked. There was no hot water or coffee machine in the room so had to go down to the office to get hot water for making tea. The refrigerator leaked all over on the floor. The floor you could tell it's not in good shape. The bed and pillow was comfortable, the room appeared to be clean. I like that it had a table to sit at in the room. It was not easy to control the temperature in the room. The room was very cold first night, my husband froze. We had to turn the system totally off for a day to be able to get it to a nice temperature.

I had a roach in my room the ac didn’t work and we had them clean our room bed was not cleaned

Wasn’t a good stay the room was dirty, staff wasn’t friendly, I just all in all had a really bad experience and normally I don’t complain about these things

I was originally roomed in the building interior and couldn't get the phone service I needed for an early morning meeting. So, the staff moved me to an outboard room where it worked out for my meeting. Thanks.

We were here for 3 nights and the rooms had roaches at least 3 of them we saw. The WiFi did not work at all the whole time we were there and I work remote so I had to work elsewhere In my 2nd night there was very loud music playing late. The staff was wonderful tho very nice. The bathroom was cleaned with something that made the floors very slippery when wet and my toddler fell. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. The room was clean but the sheets had cigarette burn marks even when our room was smoker free. The mini fridge was rusted and they had no coffee machines.

Rusted out microwave, no shampoo or Kleenex. Room in rough shape.
