Grand Hotel

Położenie w spokojnym miejscu - obok miła kawiarnia ze śniadaniami. W hotelu restauracja ale nie korzystałem jedząc w wielu miejscach okolicy. W hptelu miałem pokój po modernizacji - duży i czysty. Okolica bezpieczna nawet na nocne spacery.

The building and the area itself was very beautiful

German national on a valid work visa in India, fully registered with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO). I provided my eFRRO Residential Permit, digital passport copy as well as visa and even my physical PAN card and physical German ID, but check-in was refused without the original passport. This felt overly rigid and inconsistent, as other hotels accepted the same documents without issue. They wanted other hotels I stayed to vouch for me by sharing my passport with them, which is against privacy compliance. Through the whole process the staff seemed very uninformed about what the actual policy is they are trying to follow which led to me waiting for 3 hours in the lobby for no reason. Only after I called for the director things sped up. In total my situation might be very unique but I only can describe this as highly unprofessional.

No warm water in shower and breakfast with only processed food, no many options or healthy foods

The room is generally clean. Staff were courteous and helpful. Heritage structure having exceptional outdoor.

The AC was noisy. Hot water (in the morning alone). The Coffee mugs in the room are dirty. Lift did not work. Restaurant not available in the evening hours, made us to walk looking for food outside the hotel. Overall not a great stay.
