ibis Bata

This hotel is disappointing. Unfortunately, it is one of your only options in Bata. It is roach-infested and the elevators didn't work while I was there. I have stayed at this hotel four or five times over the years and I have to admit that it is the first time that there have been issues with the elevator; however, in talking to a fellow guest, he told me that it was a common occurrence. I suggest that you choose rooms on the first of second floor, in case you have to make a climb for it. The roaches on the other hand, have always been there and it doesn't seem like they are going anywhere. In addition, there is not hotel shuttle and the hotel can't call you a cab so you better have a way to get to the airport. In terms of food, they have a pretty decent breakfast buffet, but the dinner menu is not great. Whatever you do, don't order the club sandwich, you will be sorely disappointed.

Bata is a small city in Equatorial Guinea which is the coastal belt of this Country. Hotel Ibis is Located just beside the sea shore. Beach facing rooms are available very nice place to visit. Also surrounded by some good restaurants like chinese n arabic cusine. There some good beach clubs also in the distance of 3 or 4KMS.

Bright and crisp, the Ibis is a pleasant twenty minute walk from Bata Cathedral and offers all usual Ibis Hotel amenities. The negative however are the staff who were not only quite rude, but always tried to overcharge in the restaurant and at the bar, hoping that I would not notice. Each time they did it and I pointed out the errors in the bills, those errors were rectified, but it was not pleasant having to do this every time as the staff knew full wekk what they were doing.

Third time of writing this review, wi-fi bad and keeps freezing my phone & crashing the app. Rooms are damp. I changed, it helped a bit, still not great. Clothes feel damp after a day or so. Also first time in a business hotel and there's no desk in the room. There is a hotdesk thing in the lobby that's seats 4 or maybe 6 a at squeeze, but it's not ideal and always seems full. Restaurant/bar is good. Seaview is great. Not sure there's anywhere better to stay until the Hilton about 200m away opens. Am probably going to cut my stay shirt and return to the Hilton in Malabo which is a step up.

Very good service, clean environment. Very well located. Although I didn't use it, but I see a very nice and welcome swimming pool. The restaurant offers a cost effective meals. As a whole it is a good hotel for business staying.

One of the decent, Near and clean hotel in Bata. Rooms are good, but this hotel looks like IBIS Budget segment as the Rooms are just compact and Toilets are full of plastics. Dinning area and Hanging area is common and small. Just opposite to the ocean and you will hear the beautiful water waves sound in the night. Good wifi signal, overall it is Good for a Business Stay as people don't mind the remaining things mostly unlike Tourist And family Travellers.

Well management, nice restaurant, well emplaced near beach and comercial areas.Nice sundown and very experienced team. Good relation price quality and well connected. nice swimming pool with excellent views

The Ibis Bata follows the same standard found in "ibis hotel network" around the world. Clean, good and nice employees, as usual. I enjoyed the food (salmon sandwich) and soup at the restaurant...Very nice hotel option in guinea equatorial.

Rapport qualité prix correct pour Bata , seulement gros problèmes à l'arrivée car la direction a prétendu n'avoir pas été payée ou pas prévenue de notre arrivée ( 7 chambres)Hotel.com doit trouver une solution pour que les clients ne soient pas importunés avec ce genre de tracasserie.

I stayed at the IBIS for one night only and would return if I have the chance. Very friendly staff. Great views of the ocean if you have a sea view room. Great location. You could walk for hours next to the ocean on the side walks. Room very basic, but it's all you need!
