Laem Din Hotel Chaweng

Sijainti on hyvä. Pääsee 5 minuutissa biitsille ja pääkatu on sopivan lähellä. Kuitenkin sen verran sivussa että Green Mangon meteli ei yllä. Hotellissa palvelu ok , siisteys ok. Tien puolella oleviin huoneisiin kantautuu liikenteen melua ja öisin ainakin itselläni alkoi melkoinen kulkukoirien tähdittämä haukkumis spektaakkeli. Sisäpihan huoneet hiljaisia.

Assez bon dans l'ensemble . Chambre spacieuse Mais le lit n 'est pas du tout confortable . A noter que seul les bouteilles d' eau en verre sont gratuites car le personel precise insiste que les bouteilles d 'eau sont gratuite mais il ne precise pas lesquel car il y en n'a plusieurs du coup a la fin il vous font payer. Il y a une personne qui parle correctement l anglais donc quand il est pas la difficile de se faire comprendre. A 5min a pied de la plage ,pas mal de de restaurant a proximités.

Hotelværelset var pænt og stort, en dejlig seng og godt badeværelse. Personalet var yderst hjælpsomt. Min kæreste blev syg under vores ophold, og de var yderst søde til at hjælpe med alting. Det ligger lidt langt fra strand og centrum, men med indkøbsmuligheder osv lige i området.

For the price paid, everything was pleasant enough with the facilities you would expect in this price range. Its positives are that it is close to Chaweng beach but far enough out that it can be peaceful, the walking street is two minutes away with nice and cheap food. Also the FX next door allows you to use the pool. The hotel itself appears very dated and in need of some upgrades but for the price I wasnt expecting the Ritz.

I came to koh Samui with my girlfriend - we are a student couple so weren't looking for anything too extravagant. On arrival we arrived at the front desk around 9PM and nobody was around - after 5 minutes of waiting we were checked in by a happy man , who showed us to our room and how everything worked . Pros : the rooms are big and clean and have lots of cupboard space. The bed is big and comfortable, (but the amenities such as a kettle with coffee and tea were not suppled) Cons : you can see that this hotel needs a bit of attention, as it is now shadowed by its big brother next door (FX hotel). I would take an educated guess in saying they are owned by the same person. The wifi is horrible, as it is shared from the FX hotel next door so the speed is super slow. The shower fittings could be cleaned as well as the the aircondofioners needing a service to take away the mouldy smell. In concluding I had a great stay at the laem din. Was a bit disappointed that we didn't receive all the amenities advertised but that happens when you are travelling on a budget!

Rooms don't look like they do in the photos. They are quite run down. The bathroom was mouldy. The service was quite bad, no one ever seemed to know what they were doing and it took a long time to check in. They were quite friendly though. The location is about 15min walk to Chaweng beach.

not luxurious but very good for the price with everything you need - Chaweng a short walk away. Staff extremely helpful. Can use the pool and have breakfast (extra) at FX hotel next door. Lucky bar next door friendly and good for playing pool

This is a budget hotel in my opinion and located a few blocks off the beach. For the price of the rooms it was good value and staff were helpful. Use of the pool in the FX hotel next door is a bonus.

The rooms here are huge! Same owner as FX next door and they provide inhouse motorbike rental service to guests! This is a diamond in the rough.

Very disappointed, all the photos are from the Partner hotel (FX hotel) across the road. The bathroom needs a good deep clean with bleach, hair everywhere in the rooms and basically filthy. No room facility's (coffee etc) Bed is terrible old & too soft.We stayed 4 nights and had no cleaning or clean towels for 2 days???,This hotel is suited to backpackers who want to crash and basically use the room for sleep only but the room rate is way over priced...should be in the 4/500 baht a night range......The free wifi is the ONLY plus; if you have the chance stay next door at the FX = 8/10 the Laem 3/10...for the same room rate
