OYO 447 Royal Express Hua Hin

Located on the main road, fast check-in at Citin Loft hotel located 50m down an alley opposite this hotel. We had a reasonably-sized room with balcony facing the main road. Comfortably furnished with King-sized bed, fridge, coffee maker, 2 bottles complimentary water daily, Old TV, bathrobes, free strong WiFi (10 Mbps) in room, daily housekeeping, safe & clean. Near railway station, beach, shopping malls, 3 night markets, good & cheap seafood, local food, bus & vans to bangkok & local bus station along Sra Song road, in front of Siripetkasem hotel. Good value no frills hotel. I would stay here again if in Hua Hin.

We knew it was cheap, so we didn't have high expectations. However, it was extremely clean and spacious inside. The staff was very friendly and kind (like all of Thailand). They helped us continuously and we were a 5 minute walk from food (of various varieties) and 10 minutes from the beach! The only challenge was finding the place after your bus drops you off in a random portion of the city (but friendly people were around to help) and you also had to check in at the Citron Hotel, or some place... but overall super great!!

fast and efficient check-in at citinloft, porter took my luggage across the road to hotel. The staff also helpful with advise about transport options. Being on the main road meant easy access to night markets and shopping. Further up the road was a very good shopping mall/food court.Beach access a little hard to find at first so took advantage of pool at citinloft.

The hotel is nice for the price I paid. It meets the basic needs: comfy bed, big refrigerator, not very convenient shower, tea-maker. They DON'T have hair driers! The hotel is part of Citin Loft, so you can use their swimming pool and other facilities. The location is nice: in the center of Hua Hin.Very close to railway station, 10 minutes to the beach, Village Market is close enough.

As stated previously by others, check in is at the Citi Loft. We're suppose to be able to use their pool but apparently the stairs broke so the pool's been closed for a while. The room wasn't as shown in the pictures but still okay and fine. We did note that there wasn't any hot water showering at 10pm or so but mid afternoon there was, did the water get shut off or used up? We would probably stay again due to the low cost but beware, Friday & Saturday nights are twice the price of during the week.

Everything about this hotel was basic, functional and clean. No complaints for the price. WIFI never worked but it was a known issue that should be fixed by now.

but a serious nightmare trying to find the place(took me 2 hours!!!)even the police station 150 metres away didn,t know it.thats mainly to do with its an apartment block.i found out i wasn,t the only one who found it difficult.there is no reception,you have to check in at the nearby citin loft hotel!!

Nice clean room with big fridge/bed, loads of tv channels and good wifi. Central location close to food, bars and beach. Songteaws (10b taxis) stop in front of hotel to make getting around HH fairly easy. Only downside was lack of hot water in the shower. Friendly security guards greet you at the door when you come and go.

Warming staff but I have some problem about the number of bed for this booking and does not have solution from the hotel.

We went to c/in at the Citin Loft first and then they walked us across the street to the Royal Express. We booked a king room but they said no King room will be available for the next 2-3 weeks. So why they still put it up on the website that they have it available??? Well so they put 2 single beds together for us the next day because no maid service available in that evening . The wifi never worked since we got there. They said the internet went down and they let us use the computer in the lobbly that full with mosquitoes since they never close the door. Thanks god the wifi worked in the room after midnight that day but still off and on. Better than nothing. We have no elevator and we were up on the 3rd floor. No telephone connection in the room (Have a phone but the hotel staff said it never worked) When we have the questions or need something, they told us to go downstair so we can let the security guard know what we need!!! The shower is bad it was very hot then suddenly cold all the 3 nights we were there. We went to the Front Desk to report these problems since the first day but nothing she can do because the manager will be there in the morning only. We thought about contacting Hotels.com but we were overseas and have no international phone card to contact right away. Also we didn't really care to talk to hotel staffs anymore since they aren't really helpful anyway. We just left the hotel but wanted to let everybody know about our experience.
