10min away from the airport. Really nice hotel very different from the ones around the area. Had a really pleasant two night stay before exploring more of Thailand.

I booked this hotel/resort for my elderly mother and myself, as it was close to the airport so that we would not have a long drive prior to our departure. It was surprisingly quiet given its proximity to the airport (about 5 minutes' drive). We had a cabin/villa to ourselves and it was well equipped with twin beds, a dresser, small bathroom with shower and toilet and a sink in the room. In addition there was a full sized fridge, a microwave, an in-room safe (very small but appreciated), a good sized wardrobe to hang our clothes. The grounds were green and tranquil, the pool area lovely (could use more lounge chairs), and the dining area was cosy - both outdoor and airconditioned indoor option were available. We chose to have breakfast included and the set menus were fresh and plentiful. There were both 'American-style' and 'Thai-style' breakfasts to choose from, as well as coffee, tea, juices, croissants and toast from the bar area. The dining area seemed to be able to serve meals all day long, and although we didn't eat much for lunch (we shared something light), we enjoyed our meals in the evening, eating outdoors, although everyone else went inside as there were mosquitoes. The staff lit mosquito coils for us and aimed fans our way (and we had good mosquito repellent) so we were not bothered. The staff were very kind cheerful and helpful. Although the hotel does not provide massages on site any longer, there are a number of massage places about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The nearby Nai Yang Beach (a 5 minute walk from the hotel) is spectacular but as it is in a National Park there is a 200 baht fee per person (non Thai) to enter. Because the aircraft land and take off over the beach, people love to stand under the arriving/departing aircraft and take selfies!

If I had to choose anything it would be the water pressure in the shower which was fairly light with the water running hot and cold intermittently. However it certainly wasn't a deal-breaker. Also it would be good to have a few more lounge chairs around the pool (there is room) as some guests 'hogged' the chairs with their towels even though they weren't there for an extended period of time.

Close to airport (what we wanted) and surprisingly charming.
