Hotel Touring

Great location (close to central train station and ferries) - but breakfast was poor (just a croissant and coffee), and my sink plugged up. Staff was pleasant and did their best to be helpful.

Good location near train station. Safe didn't open at all. Room was ok clean. If you get room from street side, there is a street where goes trucks all night, so it's pretty loud inside too. Hotel was like from 80's.

最初駅からの道で迷いましたが見つけさえすればその近さに便利を覚えます。中心街のカイローリ広場までも十分に近いですし、立地は文句なし。 レセプションのおじさんを３人ほど見かけましたが可もなく不可もなくといった感じです。 部屋は広めですが、それ以外は寝れればいいという方向きです。 シャワーもネットも普通に使えるので、総合してよかったかと思います。 次も同じ価格なら利用したいです。

駅のそばでロケーションは良かった。朝食も早くから応じてくれてよかったが、パンとコーヒーのみ。

Albergo con una buona relazione Qualita-Prezzio. Ha tutti i servizi di un albergo 3 stelle e se il hotel non ha il elevatore, il personal è molto atento e porta i bagagli fino alla stanza. Un po negativo fu che il rumore di la strada si ascolta molto pero non he niente se sei molto estanco per dormire... Saluti.

The location is close to train station, ferry and shopping area, it's great for us because we stayed in messina one night in order to take a ferry to Stomboli early in the morning. The service is good, the hotel seems to be managed by a family over 50 years, their breakfast starts at 7am or 7:30am but they made coffee and brioche for us before 6:30am because we needed to catch a ferry at 7am. They are nice people though they don't speak English but we manage to understand hand gestures, body language and broken Italian. Hey, that's part of the fun about traveling! The room was simple but clean, most importantly, it has air conditioning !!! The most needed facility in Mediterranian summer.

First off - the price we paid was 60 Euro for 2 people. Points of Hotel: Positive: room was spacious and had a mini-fridge. Free Wi-fi Free car parking Negative: No elevator Uncomfortable beds, sagging mattress springs 10-15 cm Ashtrays found throughout room, hallways etc. (Hotel not recommended for non-smokers) Entire hotel stinks of smoke and old still air smell. Shower will flood the bathroom, and water will switch automatically between freezing cold, scorching hot and luke warm every 30 seconds. Breakfast consists of a croissant and coffee or tea. No immediate restaurants around, not great for people without a car

I have been to this hotel on more than one occasion and have always found it cheap, cheerful and convenient. You get what you pay for, so don't expect too many stars, the furnishings are old and the heater in my room was not doing so well with the beautiful high ceilings, but the people are mostly nice, the breakfast is tasty and it is only a short walk to the station and city centre. You can't ask for more!

(1) The mattress on my bed was very lumpy and uneven. The springs seemed to be broken. It was uncomfortable. (2) The hotel says it accepts credit cards. When I came to pay my bill the receptionist told me his computer was down so he could not accept payment by credit card. So I paid with cash. I asked for a receipt for the cash payment but the receptionist would not give me one. (3) There was a very bad smell in the fridge in my room. (4) The breakfast room was not a place one would want to linger.

Everything, ok it was cheap, but how they had 3 stars above the door is beyond me. The guy on the desk was an Italian Basil Fawlty. The first room given had a smell so bad, I thought something had died in there. We were given a remote for air con and the tv but both failed to work. The facilities and furniture was out of a 'rising damp' set. We (3 rooms) went to town immediately, and stayed out as long as we could. The traffic noise was so bad, I thought the coach and lorries were joining us. Got up at 6am, skipped breakfast and jumped on the nearest train. Oh and the bed was bad as well. On the plus side..... The sheets were clean... Ish. Somebody needs to review the 3 star rating. Don't stay there unless you have no choice.
