It felt more like staying in someone’s private home than in a guesthouse. Parking was limited, and we were required to park to one side to accommodate the owner’s vehicles. Even after receiving approval to return late from a function, we were told to keep quiet upon arrival. Early in the morning, around 05:30, the owner of the household became active and left for work, with cars and trailors moving. If I had wanted the experience of staying in someone’s home with these kinds of restrictions, I would have rather booked an Airbnb.
