"Very Good B&B"

8.0

A surprisingly contemporary, family run B&B. Very traditional looking from the outside but the rooms are very modern and very clean. I think we were the first to check in that day so we were shown round three rooms and we got to choose. We had the room to the rear as it had its own private access, ensuite and access to the kitchen. Wi-Fi isn't great in this room however. We had a great nights sleep, the bed being very comfortable memory foam mattress. The breakfast spread was quite something! A full table of cakes, biscuits, fruit.....ideal if you have a sweet tooth for breakfast. If not - like me - you can have the yogurt, fruit and cerial. The owner is in the kitchen with you for the whole time and she will make you hot drinks. Parking for guests on the road straight outside the B&B. Seems to be cash only for room payment - no cards accepted! Would recommend for a night or two in a great little town.

"Family Wedding Weekend"

10.0

We stayed here 3rd-6th October 2014 for a family wedding, we had 3 rooms, the whole floor to ourselves. The 2 front facing rooms had balconies which were lovely. The lady, I think her name was Frederica was fabulous asking us what time we would like breakfast which was such a great selection. She even went out of her way to write out directions for getting into Rome, she was great. The rooms are large with very comfy double beds and plenty of storage space. We had the bride (my niece) arrive on her wedding day to have her hair done and she was also welcomed into breakfast! There is quite a bit of noise from the road but no more than we expected, just shut the balcony door at night and you have no problem. I can honestly say that Raggio di Sole B&B is one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed in and we thank them for their superb hospitality. Trevignano Romano itself is just beautiful, tiny little back streets which are so pretty and of course the lake which is stunning, add fantastic weather to this and our weekend was complete. Well done Raggio di Sole, keep doing what your doing and you won't go wrong.

"Lovely place to stay"

8.0

We stayed for a week in June and had a wonderful stay. The B&B itself is very clean, with a nicely appointed room and en-suite bathroom. It even had a dressing table with a mirror and a socket for my hairdryer, which is something that is usually missing from 5 star hotels. The only negatives were the lack of air-conditioning in the room, which I wasn't expecting anyway, and the traffic noise from the main road, as we were at the front of the building. However, we soon got used to both and the central location meant that we were close to the lake and plenty of restaurants and bars. Parking was also provided in an off-road car-port, which meant we didn't have to worry about the hire car when we weren't using it. Bicycles were offered, but although we had good intentions, it was very warm while we were there and we never quite got up the energy! The family was very friendly and helpful and, although I was worried about our limited talian, Frederica and Angelo both spoke enough English that we managed to understand each other. Frederica served incredible breakfasts every morning to our timetable and I have never seen so many pastries and fruit on one table before. She also gave us some very good advice about places to visit, how the trains work (!!) and which restaurants were good. Trevignano Romano itself is perfectly situated for visits to Rome, Viterbo, Bracciano and Anguillara. Very quiet at this time of year during the week, but with enough restaurants and bars to keep us entertained in the evenings, sitting by the lake and watching the sun set while we ate and had a couple of glasses of wine. The lake is crystal clear with otters swimming in the evenings, and with beaches and pedalos etc in the day. The perfect mix of day trips and relaxation. I would have no hesitation in returning either to Trevignano or to the B&B Raggio Di Sole.

"Very clean and modern B&B"

10.0

The room we had was very clean and modern in a little B&B apartment on the first floor in a small black. The room that we had was a nice size and had a little balcony overlooking the road that was pleasant in the evening. The B&B was about two roads up from the lake so did not have a view of it but was easy to reach. The town was quite pleasant with a lot of restaurants and they were a nice walking distance from the B&B. The lady who ran it was very willing and friendly. Her English was limited, as was our Italian, but we got through. She put on a huge breakfast spread of continental constituents including many sweet things. There were two bikes to borrow for free the brakes on one took some managing since they were a bit harsh.
