Bathroom wasn’t as clean, floor was dusty and the carpets seemed dusty. There was no fridge in the room, hot chocolate and bottled water. At breakfast there were no scrambled egg options.

Very good breakfast,plenty of choice.Pool and sauna were good as was the very pleasant location.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was clean and tidy.Bathroom was spotless but rather noisy when light and extractor fan were on.Bed was comfortable but could have been a little bigger.

Location is outstanding the views are excellent. The spa facilities are very good. Food Is 1st class.

Unfortunately we didn't receive our robe and slippers in our room for the spa despite having a superior room. Due to staff problems our room wasn't tidied but a free drink was offered.

Very good hotel in a lovely location, in the Welsh countryside. Our room was big and spacious. Staff were nice and helpful; we stayed there during a heatwave and they worked really hard to make things as pleasant as they could be, especially dinner in a very hot conservatory.

Some bits of the hotel are a bit dated and in need of an upgrade (e.g., doors in our room, bathroom). We would also have appreciated being able to use the pool in the evening with our child, but this is just a minor issue.

"A bit of luxury on our long walk!"

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had looked after our bags for us as they had been dropped ahead of our arrival. It was great to be able to buy a packed lunch for our walk the next day as the local shop had run out!

The heat in the conservatory! Dinner was served in the conservatory which, in usual conditions, I'm sure is lovely. We stayed in a heatwave and the heat was UNBEARABLE. I'm not sure I understand why dinner could not have been served in the breakfast room under such exceptional circumstances, or indeed more tables been made available outside.
