Hotel Carlton

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Ghent railway station, which is great if you want to travel anywhere around Belgium. At the same time it's within walking distance from the city center and the famous sights. There's a lovely park located very close to the hotel ideal for an evening stroll. We were in Belgium at the time of extreme heat wave thus we appreciated the air conditioning in the room. The room was clean, light and functional, carpeted and there was a seating area, fresh water supplied daily, a coffee maker and a hot water kettle with complimentary tea and coffee supplied daily which we appreciated very much. I also liked that there was an exercise mat in the room. The bathroom was clean and small but enough for what we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful, everyone spoke perfect English, so it was easy to communicate. They gave us some great advice about where to go and what to do around the city. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time.

It was a bit noisy when other people arrived and talked in the corridors, we could hear them. Fortunately, there was no noise at night. Also, we would have appreciated a shoe horn in the room and a laundry bag.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof und verfügt über eine eigene Parkgarage. Das Zimmer war groß und komfortabel, sehr ruhig und mit allem eingerichtet. Man braucht zu Fuß etwas 30 Minuten in das Zentrum oder 20 Minuten mit der Bahn. Das Personal war sehr nett, Frühstück war auch sehr gut und hochwertig. Uns hat dieses Hotel sehr gut gefallen.

Die Klimaanlage war sehr schwach.

ロケーションが良い。 スタッフの対応も好感が持てます。 特に、帰国便が台風の影響で丸一日遅延した際、延泊が必要となりました。 あいにく、このホテルは満室でしたがスタッフの方が近隣のホテルに交渉してくださり、スムーズに延泊の手続きが済んだことには感謝です。

On arrival the Receptionist (Charlotte) Wes superb. She was helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly. Room was first class. The receptionist (Karen) when we were leaving was also exceptionally helpful and friendly. The staff at the lovely hotel made our stay an excellent one.

Cozy hotel with all you need for stay...very well connected by public transportation with all parts of town and at the walking distance to reach center....every polite and helpful stuff:)
