Mooie kamer, erg schoon, fijne douche en lekkere bedden. Prachtig uitzicht.

In weekend lawaaiig van auto's die langsrijden met sportuitlaten en muziek. Verder overdag rustig.

Hotel znajduje się w bardzo przyjemnej i spokojnej okolicy. Gospodarze są bardzo sympatyczni, łóżka bardzo wygodne a przy ulicy spora ilość miejsc parkingowych. Podczas naszego pobytu były zawody pirotechniczne a z dachu hotelu było je widać fantastycznie.

Piękny widok z balkonu, lokalizacja w spokojnej okolicy, jedynie nocą trzeba zamykać okno ponieważ jest hałas od ulicy. W pokoju czysto, codziennie sprzątane, śniadania kontynentalne podawane na tarasie. Przy dłuższym pobycie mogłyby być bardziej urozmaicone, ale nie jest to najważniejsze. Villa ma swój urok a miły i pomocny gospodarz rekompensuje te maleńkie niedogodności.

W okolicy jest mało restauracji i sklepów.

Quiet location in a lovely spot overlooking the water and beautiful views of Valletta and Birgu

Die Lage am Hafen von Kalkara ist super, mit der Fähre oder mit dem Bus ist man schnell in Valletta oder anderen Teilen von Malta. Von der Dachterrasse, auf der das Frühstück serviert wird, hat man einen tollen Blick auf Valetta. Der Inhaber ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit

Wir hatten ein Deluxe Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick gebucht und ein sehr kleines Zimmer mit nachträglich eingebautem "Dusch-Klo" (Achtung Wasser läuft auch gerne ins Zimmer!) bekommen. Nur der Ausblick aus dem Fenster war super. Da das Hotel ausgebucht war und wir sowieso nur zum Schlafen und Duschen da waren, haben wir es so akzeptiert. Das Frühstück war ziemlich einfallslos, zum Kaffee kein Kommentar. Ob die tolle Aussicht das wett macht ist die Frage... Außerdem war es am Morgen auf dem offenen Balkon recht frisch und drinnen kaum Platz für alle Gäste.

This is a very simple and charming place (I loved the tiles, high ceiling, the little table with port view...). The bed was very confortable, the room was clean and the hotel provided all the necessary for a nice stay : clean towels, toilet paper, liquid soap., which I really appreciated since I was travelling with only a backpack. Carlo the property manager was very attentive and reactive. I could stay again in this place and I can recommend it. At walking distance there are several activities that are a plus to this place like the Esplora Interactive Science, Birgu (looved that area) and other monuments, museums and wonderful landscapes. During my last day I had a brunch nearby in a place called Café Riche, then went to Fort St Angelo, walked the streets of Birgu and had lunch in BeBirgu. For me that was the perfect last day and can recommend if anyone is looking for some ideas.

It is 20min - car away to Valleta. I think this is a reasonable time but if you don't have many days (less than 3), may be smarter to get in the upper side of the island to get the most of it.
