Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway

Lovely accommodation set in wodded grounds in the charming town of Blackheath. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer.

Clean and comfortable rooms Loved the large outdoor fire and marshmallows

Pool was cooler than expected Would love a few more items in the room like tissues and face cloth A trampoline would be so awesome for the kids

Fantastic large rooms. Great facilities for kids/families to enjoy and very well kept.

Bathroom could have been simpler. Taps were too low in the shower and toilet roll holder was away from the toilet.

We booked both the possums hideaway and the family accommodation (pines?) Both were lovely and spacious but possums was a real treat for adults only. Our kids stayed with my brother and his family as we had the possums apartment to ourselves. Clean, spacious and secluded with a lovely view of a hut designed to fed the possums at night in full view from our bed. We weren't disappointed. I'm into running and did a few trail runs locally.. the most amazing runs / walks i've ever done right in short (2min) distance from the accommodation. Just use strava to recommend some routes. Facilities for the kids were outstanding with a games room with access to tennis rackets, ball games etc and even videos for evenings that you just wanted to stay in

nothing. It was all amazing.
