Camelot Restaurant & Inn

Very nice last minute stay. The only downside is room number 4 the air conditioner didnt blow out cold air and it was an 80 degree night. Had a fantastic dinner at the onsite restaurant. The meal was excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive. We plan to be back again in the fall

We felt the price was excellent, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was tasty and excellent, reasonably priced and the room was clean.

Everything was great until we checked out, We were all set to leave at the prescribed checkout time of 11:00 AM when I felt some digestive issues come on and that I would need some additional time to use the bathroom, I approached the front desk to ask if we could have another 15 minutes and I was told by a light haired woman, seemingly in a position of authority that we would have to check out immediately, even after my mentioning the bathroom issue, Apparently 3 hours and 45 minutes wasn't enough time to get the room ready for the next set of guests and they would need the full 4 leading up to check in at 3:00. We did leave immediately as told but it put a damper on the rest of the day's activities, I understand there is a dire shortage of compassion, caring and empathy in today's world, but I didn't expect to experience this at The Camelot,

Carpet was terribly stained. No smells, but really stained. The stains need to be removed or the carpet needs to be replaced. TV was not working; but they had a gentleman fix it for me with a new cable to cable box. You have to ask for any needed ice.

The room was very attractive- bed was very hard

Property has a great bar and restaurant, rooms are always clean. However, wish the rooms would be updated. The rooms and furniture are very dated.

Lovely rooms. Good food. Nice athmosphere.

Our room was not ready at check-in and they wanted us to wait 45 minutes past check in time We had to be somewhere and could not wait they were not being accommodating. After arguing they finally switched us to another room. They don’t have that many rooms and check out is 11:00am I would think they should have rooms ready by 3pm.

This is a lovely place to stay. The room was comfortable and clean, large bathtub, peaceful and quiet. There’s a restaurant downstairs which we didn’t get to try but our friends told us it’s very good. I hope to stay here again.
