SpringHill Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Valley Forge/King of Prussia

Staff was friendly. Layout of the room was very convenient. It was very quiet at night, the room was quite dark so I got good sleep. But very bright with the shades open during the day. I was in the area to do some cycling and a bike trail was right behind the hotel. From the hotel, I could easily connect directly to several bike paths. I would definitely stay here if I was in the area again.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. If it was only staff and cleanliness, it would have been an exceptional experience.

I arrived after dark, and honestly the facility was very poorly lit outside and felt very unsafe. It was difficult to find anywhere in the parking lot with good lighting and the area of town seemed a bit questionable after dark. It’s very important to me to feel that a hotel is safe and secure, but I cannot honestly say that I felt safe and secure in this facility. The poor lightning in combination with the end exterior doors not closing completely without assistance left me very uncomfortable. It truly is unfortunate because the staff was great and the room was very clean, but if I return to the area, I will certainly find a different property. This staff in a different or more security conscious facility would be stellar, but the safety and security of the guests, especially after dark certainly needs to be addressed in this location.
