Location

The room wasn’t the one I booked which was disappointing. The room was in the attic and very difficult to carry the cases up many stairs. There was no dish washing liquid and scourers were used. No room safe.

Very comfortable and well equipped room. Staff was very friendly and let me leave my backpack before and after checkin/out. Liked the water fountain to refill my bottle. Loved the ice cream place just below the rooms.

Many liked the ice cream, so it did get a bit loud in the evenings with the window open.

Everything was clean and new. They had a free water fountain and an extra shower available to use after check out. The breakfast was also abundant and tasty. The hotel hás an ice cream shop which is very popular and has decent gelato.

The town wasn’t particularly pretty, but has a few restaurants and services around.

The location is fantastic, walking distance to multiple beautiful beaches, restaurants, cafes and bars. The room was lovely, adequate size, HUGE comfy bed with nice linen and plenty of pillows. It was great having our own balcony and clothes-drying line for our swimsuits and towels. The cleaning service was great, we opted to have the room remade each day and it was nice to come back to a made bed and clean room. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. Check-in and out process was smooth and seamless. We didn't have breakfast or lunch at the hotel as we were out and about during the day, but the one night we had dinner at the connected restaurant it was incredible. The chicken salad was exactly what we had been craving and the lamb shoulder was so tender, it fell off the bone and melted in your mouth - yum! We also had ice cream at least once a day, every day, from the gelateria downstairs and it was amazing. So many delicious flavours (the namesake Colonial flavour was the best!), generous scoops and really nice to have gluten free cones available, as well as knowledgeable staff who could advice on allergens in the various flavours.

The air conditioning unit in the room was great, but it was too loud to leave on while we slept - so we'd turn it off and then wake up in the night too hot, then open the door to the balcony, which would then let in the (occasional) street noise, was a bit of a catch-22! Only street parking is available and since it's quite a busy, popular town, it was hard to find nearby parking on the weekends especially. The weekdays were much easier, but still required doing a few loops of the nearby streets. Each time we were still able to eventually find a park nearby though.

Hotel is freshly new, located it the heart of the Colonia Sant Jordi. The room was pretty small, but very comfortable and ergonomically designed. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Breafast was good, fresh and tasty.

Great friendly welcome, extensive continental breakfast, clean rooms with powerful showers. Amazing ice cream!

Noise conditioning average. Room 1&8 above the stairs so slamming doors external and internal an issue. We got charged 15% more than booking.com price, u sure why and assuming local taxation
