Van der Valk Hotel Hardegarijp - Leeuwarden

the bedrooms have individual air conditioning units, the extraction vent from the bedroom above was right at our window and created a noise in our room from when we arrived, this went on until 4am, so unable to sleep, very unpleasant. In the restaurant i had a nice meal but my wife's vegetarian meal was very poor, ordered a cheese souffle and got two pieces of coated deep fried cheese with some basic vegetables, the restaurant was very busy with two large parties and our table was at swing door which when opened by the large party group banged against my chair!

It was a pleasant place to stay. My granddaughter especially liked the horse theme upstairs. I wasn’t too keen to have to walk through the function room to get to our rooms. Luckily there was nothing happening while we were there.

Good breakfast, friendly staff

The room had a broken window, you could feel the sharp edge of the crack in the window. The bathroom is simple, I found hairs of the previous guest. The radiator in the bathroom was rusty. The area where the room was located didn't give me a hotel feeling.

Prima hotel, vriendelijke service en mooie comfortabele kamers met Nespresso-apparaat en zelfs een koelkastje. Ik vond het jammer dat je moet reserveren als je in het restaurant wilt eten, op de dag van aankomst was er geen plaats en omdat er weinig andere restaurants zijn heb ik maar wat bij de chinees aan de overkant gehaald... Verder alles prima.

We waren op zoek naar een bed en ontbijt voor negen personen en we zijn bijzonder tevreden over Hotel Van Der Valk in Hurdergaryp.

Prijs/kwaliteit is goed.

Leuk, net en degelijk hotel. Alles goed verzorgd.
