The Old Village, Prestige and Solar by Village 4U

Host replied to messages quickly and had a reception. Check in details were clear And we were walked to our room. Room was clean and the entire complex was spotless (almost felt like a film set!) we’ll definitely be staying again. The pool was brilliant too, a pool bar with music and atmosphere. Fresh towels were given on day 3 of our stay, with the room tidied and bins emptied, normally something you only get from a hotel stay.

We were in Solar do Golfe and not the old village which worked out really well. We loved the private pool which was much quieter than the main pool area which honestly was chaos. Our apartment was mostly modern and very comfortable. Location was super.

1. The bedroom had no air con so we had to move our mattress into the living room every night. 2. If you are in the main part of the old village you have to pay €4 per day per person for a sun lounger which I think is INSANE. 3. The bathroom was very dated and smelt quite bad. 4. The pools were overly clean - they were okay but quite grimy on the bottom.
