The staff was so friendly, always around to answer any question. Loved the location, centrally downtown and near an underground parking area. All of the places to see were right there and so many restaurants close by too.

Looks good on the outside, very nice lobby, recently renovated , but unfortunately rooms are tiny - bathroom not good at all - they left it out from the renovation, a bit more in-depth look shows how they quickly repainted some walls, left splatters of paint all around as they obviously didn't care about those things and only changed the beds/some furniture to look modern but actually nothing else is right. Toilet itself was dirty and old, otherwise everything else clean(-ish). Pillows awful - so thin and small! Walls are also thin, there are so many rooms in the 6 floor building that you can hear everything next door. Breakfast was awful - just so basic and cheap, the cheapest ever cheeses cheapest ham, cheapest pastries and bread - that was it, nothing else. Few jams probably the cheapest and few cheap yogurts. I was decieved by the photos - yes all looks great in nice little modern style boxes and containers, nicely arranged - but again that's only the looks.. Unfortunately the only two good things I can say are staff were helpful (although only when asked), it is quite helpful that they have a storage room for luggage and they don't mind keeping it even when checked out.. and obviously the location/view from the rooftop terrace were spot on.

I have to admit my stay was fantastic. Location amazing right opposite cathedral. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. The room was very clean and the shared bathroom was the cleanest I've ever seen in all my many travels. I would definately stay again.

Great location and amenities for a hostel. Would definitely stay here again.

Good value for money and great location.

After a bad nights sleep on the first night due to noisy neighbours I spoke to reception and they sorted it. Slept really well for the remainder of my stay. It's a basic hotel which is clean. The major selling point is the location .... a great deal considering the cost of other hotels on the area.

Central location, with a roof-top terrace that offers spectacular views of the town and especially the Cathedral, lifts this hostal from "perfectly adequate" to "excellent". Terrace breakfast at sunrise was a special treat, as was watching the sunset behind Castell Belver.

Basic accommodation, but then, that's why it is called hostel. Very good location, close to restaurants, right in the heart of old town, close to museums, 15 minutes' walk from the beach. Staff spoke good English and were helpful when we needed information. The place can get quite noisy, so if you want a quiet place, this is not the right place for you. But for the money we paid, it was worth it.I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to save money on accommodation.
